By the bus lane double yellow lines appear to run through the box.
That would render anything else posted here purely academic.
So yes, the OP has several lines of appeal.
OK so you've stopped arguing about the fact the OP is in the wrong, which I take as you agreeing that I am correct. Thanks, didn't take too long! :T:rotfl:
Now you think he can get away with it because the paint isn't the correct shade of yellow or....?0 -

1) this incident did not take place 'outside London'.
2) we are still waiting for your confirmation on 'your belief'.0 -
BTW you broke the rules yourself:
Don't comment on reported posts in the thread.
Just report it and let the Forum Team deal with it, even if you feel justified to make a comment. If you do, action could be taken on your posts as well. Please don't quote the post, as this causes the Forum Team more work.
You commented on my "abusive" post by stating to me that you reported it. You also then quoted it.0 -
This view of the junction, and this one clearly show that the double yellow lines do not encroach upon the box markings.
Would have helped had you posted the double yellow lines by the bus lane, not the other side of the road, but never mind.
In any case, the box junction markings should be up to the kerb or to the double yellow lines.
The markings break the double yellow lines, rather than go up to them.
Still possibly non-compliant.
Try again chappy.0 -

Yes please. That would save me looking them up. Thanks.0 -
