Blank Friday - avoid like the plague! Only end up buying what we dont really need or wanted!
That said I try to avoid all shopping days!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Hi cazmanian_minx, always nice to see a fellow horsey person.
We generally avoid shopping like the plague as well - I hate it and DH likes it a bit too much (thankfully only in the books/dvd/other media realm, and he uses his allowance).
Will keep an eye on the lightning deals in case anything else comes up - could stock up on more cheap dog food but would rather make sure the boys like it first. Otherwise nothing is very attractive - did buy more dog poo bags this morning, 'cause we're exciting like that.

Have you tried using nappy sacks for dog pooh bags? Have found it cheaper and they smell nicer (if that's possible :rotfl:)Back on the DFW Wagon:

We use those for the cat litter, but they're a bit too fragile/fiddly for dog poo bags. The greyhound likes to have wildlife tickling his butt as he does his business, so then you have to dig around amidst foliage to clean it up. He's weird. :rotfl:
 No sign of my paycheck yet...it's fine money-wise if it doesn't arrive in the bank until Monday, but I want to make my OP! Grump.0 -
A kinky greyhound?
When was your birthday, do we share one?
Question #3. Are you in the US?0 -

:rotfl: Who knows what goes on in his head. We have a tree-lined lane that forms the middle third of our regular walk. He walks along it and sniffs and (at some point along the path) does his thing. It's a big path, with about 18" on either side of dirt, and he'll find the one tall weed/bush thing and squat right over that. I don't know if it's a kink thing or a "I'll show you!" thing, but invariably he picks the biggest/poufiest plant in sight.
He also "stole" my shoe today (left it in the bedroom accidentally) and brought it onto the bed (he also steals our bed every day, even though he has 2 beds and a duvet to share with the other dog). Didn't do anything to the shoe, just wanted it in his "nest" (he shifts all the covers/sheets around until they're to his liking).
Nov 18 for me.
Not in the US (live outside the M25), but I moved here from the East Coast almost 6 years ago. Thought I'd try life in the UK for a year or two and then see what I thought, and I liked it well enough to stay.
Now (especially with regards to politics/healthcare) I can't really imagine living in the US again. 0 -

Despite the lack of paycheck, still made an OP today. DH won £5 on Tengi in this week's draw, so that's been sent to the mortgage.
