  • Round of applause for B@rclays then! At least you have the pennies as you say!

  • Another £9.80 to the mortgage from MB - £50 free bet went through this time and we didn't win £1,250. ;) Ah well. So much for picking horses based on their names!
  • £29.20 OP :D Starting today one of the bus companies is running a super frequent route (as a trial, I think), so the company we use has lowered their fares. Finally, capitalism does its thing! (I'm sure it won't last, but will take advantage this week at least.)
  • Great OP!!

    Love a good bonus!

  • Thanks!

Another £2 today as the rival company's weekly ticket is cheaper than our regular company's discounted one. :D Here's hoping the support will keep them around - even if prices go back up (regular company's marketing this as a "Christmas special") it'll be nice to have more buses running the route.
  • £37.75 OP from p@nelbase today. :D

DH and I got "free" lotto tickets (one free for him, I got 2 for £2 and have £10.50 pending cashback) and DH won! £2.80 :p, which isn't bad for spending 30 seconds signing up. Have to figure out how to claim it as they want a recent utility bill and all of them are 1) online 2) in my name.

Brilliant! Is this Lottoland on £co? I saw it but was a bit dubious, might go for it now!

  • I went with TCB as I think it paid out 50p more? It tracked immediately, theoretically will pay out in 2 months. I figured for £2 it wasn't a huge risk. Would've been nice to win, but an 8x return in 2 months is pretty decent too.
  • £30 cashback from the MSE energy switch arrived today. :)

Also bought a knitting book in USD but transferred the equivalent £s to the mortgage, so £43.05 total paid today.

Day off work tomorrow, meeting up with a friend to help cook/hang out. Then back to her place on Saturday as she's hosting Thanksgiving for friends/family, which should be fun. Not much else planned for the weekend - might go out for a belated birthday lunch/dinner, but might just stay home and be lazy too. ;)
