Great progress!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0

Thanks!
Just sent an extra £36.95 to the mortgage - £16.08 from N@tionwide interest and £20.87 is from my allowance for the yarn I pay for in USD.
Only £33.26 more to find to reach my new December goal - hoping that's feasible.0 -
Easy peasy - just £1.11 per day to findMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0

Thanks! Have daily interest (which will get exciting next month as we swap to our new rate), net reduction I track in my spreadsheet but haven't been posting here.0

Ended up being a pretty MSE day.
£9.95 OP made out of DH's allowance, bought a humble bundle in USD.
Got a free eye test at T3sco and don't need a new prescription.0 -
Maybe I need to revise my goal yet again? :rotfl: I try and set reasonably challenging-but-doable goals, but clearly I'm forgetting numbers somewhere.
£22.68 OP today - £16.76 interest from T$B, £5.92 cashback from S@ntander
...bringing the balance to £161,800.63 :T - so tempted to OP that last 63p but I'm going to resist. (We should get cashback next week on the CC so it'll get taken care of then, if not before.)
Going to try and resist setting another mortgage goal for this month as some of our savings pots are looking a bit empty. I'm much better at throwing money towards debt than letting it sit, especially for variable expenses (clothes, gifts, etc) - I default to thinking that I may as well chuck all the spare money at the mortgage now and make up for any saving pot shortfalls in the month when they're a problem. Probably not the best strategy, though! :rotfl:
The carpenter's coming next week to fit the doors, and our home improvements budget is short. MIL has agreed to pay the cost in full (to our dismay) but not until January, so I'm going to shoot for having that money allocated to that pot by the end of the month.
Home improvements: £607.25 / £690.25 (£83 left to find)0
