29MPG? You want to get shot of that and buy an M3.gary_jules wrote: »I get around 120 miles with £20 diesel on my 2.0 TDI. This is mostly city driving.0 -
Roughly 90 miles in the 370z, 150 in the Jag 2.2D.
Best would have been my 2012 Golf 1.6TDI, that would have been approx 270
22mpg, 37mpg, and 66mpg respectively.0 -
Beenthroughitall - are you on the myrenaultzoe.com forum? Impatiently waiting for mine to arrive in November...
And to answer the question, about 80-90 miles in a Nissan 350Z.0 -

I'm not, but I've read a few threads there in the past. Have you got one of the new R240s or the Q210 Rapid?0 -

Why? Why ? Why?0 -
I've got a Nissan Leaf - Basically a bigger version of the Zoe.
There was a 'heated' discussion around the pro/cons of electric cars versus petrol cars, buying new versus buying used etc....But which ever way you do the numbers, you cannot deny the fact these car cost very very little money to run when it comes to 'fuel' cost and servicing costs (no oil/filters to change, and brakes last a long time due to the way the electric motor is used to slow the car down rather than the brakes).
It's the convenience petrol cars currently have over electric cars I think, there’s a number of petrol stations scattered around but a lack in charging stations. With the increase of popularity for electric vehicles, I’d imagine more and more charging stations to appear in the near future.
The Leaf is a great option though, we've previously had the car in and we were pretty impressed of the amount of practicality it delivers.0 -
...a lack in charging stations...
That's not been my experience since buying the Zoe. Never had a problem finding a charging point.
The *only* problem I find is the time spent actually charging. Rapid chargers are freely available, but rapid still means 30 minutes, and as a driver who ordinarily wouldn't stop more than once every 2-300 miles, that's a big change for me.
However, for much of the mileage I do these days, that's not a problem and I can charge at work/home/public parking.0 -

That's good to hear! Probably depends on where you live, i know some areas that are lacking the amount of charging stations over petrol stations.
Yeah it doesn't really have the same effect as a quick run to the petrol station to refuel does it?
I'm guessing 30 minutes isn't a full charge of the Zoe?0 -
