    Evening all :hello:

Well, new freezer eventually arrived yesterday. So switched on last night and bought some replacement frozen foods as well as usual weekly. Threw it all in the new freezer and will have a sort out the morrow.

Spends today = A*di was £22.49 and Morrys was £52.84. Have divvied it up so that replacement stock came out of my bulk buy fund and usual weekly stuff from my monthly budget. Hopefully will be able to add a bit more to the freezer next week.

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday

Not sure if it's okay to say, but I've just seen topcashback have a £30 off £100 spend for new waitrose online customers, plus a £10 cashback offer. I think it's valid for the next week.

Might help if you're stocking up on christmas goodies.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

£8.44 spend in Asda. Spent more than I intended this weekend as I got called to help a friend at work and had planned to do a roast chicken for Sunday lunch, but the favour meant I'd be out of the house too long and wouldn't have time to cook it. So I got some YS mince and did a spag bol instead.

I will have to write off this month, I have totally lost track of my food expenditure, as lost a couple of receipts and hubby has done a couple of top ups, so no idea on total amount spent. See you all in December, where I will try and be more organised.

  • £7.62 in Aldi today (top up). Spent £20 on petrol and £5 deposit for work Christmas lunch, but they're from different budgets. I wonder whether I can make £6.56 stretch until payday (30th). I want to get hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes for m'chap coming up at the weekend (I always do a full English), so that will be £2/3. I think I have enough stock of everything else. I'm very tempted to treat us to a bottle of wine - not sure I can get one and still stay within the £200 budget that I'm really aiming for rather than the £300 I set myself, but I would still have spent less than in October. Had a rough couple of weeks car-wise, but am on the up now, and haven't resorted to any takeaways for two months, so maybe a little reward is in order.
