Had my online shop arrive, it came to £52.10. This will be the last online shop for this month, and I am hoping not to have to spend much more on small top up shops. I need to menu plan is my mantra going forward!

£11.17 spent on milk and a few bits. Have a shop ordered for the weekend and we're away at C Parcs next week and will be taking all for with us but really think I will be well under budget this month! My freezer is so full that I'm going to try to only buy fresh bits to make up some meals.
Been looking at a slow cooker thread on here as well and mine is so underused it's time to dust it off! In an ideal world I'd like to get our food to about £250 per month.......Mortgage as of 01/01/25 £67,176.08

Total now stands at £146.46 after a takeaway last night after DH returned from a stag do and a drink for me at the airport this afternoon.
I didn't get around to making DH some meals for the freezer but have defrosted the meat so DH will have the chicken for tea and lunch tomorrow and I have given him simple instructions to make a chilli. He doesn't cook so I will be impressed if he pulls it off.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Hi Everyone,
Quite spendy few days for me... Lots of little extras that pushed my total up
Pub lunch on Friday - lovely but it was £9.96, on the plus side I was so full that I only needed soup from the freezer for dinner
Bought Heroes and Celebrations thinking that I could eke these out as desserts for the week but no, scoffed them all with my son at the weekend
Got everything I need for my meal plan for the next two days (apart from sarnie fillings) so shouldn't be tempted to buy any treats for a few days x0 -
Have done a small shop this morning in B*M; Mr Ts & Ald! and spent a total of £9.66. Need to go to the next town this afternoon after I pick up DH from work when he goes to collect his new glasses so I'll pop into Lid! to get the yoghurt which he likes so another £1 or so this afternoon.
I also need to pick out my new glasses - I didn't have time last week when I had my eye test as I needed to move the car before I got a ticket for overstaying (not very MSE to do that!).
I'm also now up to 6/20 NSDs so far this month so not looking too bad at the moment. Will update siggy after I've been to Lid!'s.

£9.28 spent on ingredients for making festive goodies.
£35.26/£70 spent to date. This thread has made me realise how little I spend on food for now, and how much goes on the storecupboard / for giving to others. All to the good.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Despite the 35p doughnuts that made their way into my bag this morning, I am determinedly only buying YS from Mozza now to help them eliminate their obvious waste problem. A pack of steak mince 89p, a few slivers of smoked back bacon for 35p and 1kg carrots for 39p.

Just counted up my last few weeks food shopping , A*di 136.27 enormous fridge shop, and again 37.80, hb 10.47 on tea and 63 on xmas toiletries as gifts, and farmfoods 41 on frozen fish for pies etc, total 226.34. With my massive store cupboard shop at beginning of month I am well over target. However cupboards and fridge are heaving and at most another £10 or £20 to do to end of month. Wierd to say this when it is only 10th!0
