Hiya - I'm not sure about the age limit on the eggs - I'm 33, so not sure if that would be too old (sob.....I'm starting to get too old for things ). Basically they can either find their own donor, or they can join the waiting list for an 'anonymous' donor, but the waiting list is HUGE, because there have been recent rule changes that stop it being fully anonymous (I think that's what she said anyway), so they have a lot less volunteers.

I think I could handle the daily injections just about. Although I'm not sure if she would want my eggs anyway, but we will just wait and see.

It's a gorgeous day here today - we are having some strange extremes of weather here. This is a picture I took from my front doorstep a few days ago:

Wrap Ryan's presents - nope
Dust, polish and tidy living room - tidying done, will do rest tomorrow

Stu is working all day, which is going to make buying wrapping paper tricky - I can walk up to town for it, but Ryan will see it then, and might put 2 + 2 together. Hmmm, might have to leave that till Stu gets home.

I'm out tonight with work mates and then Scott is on nights tomorrow and Xmas eve-and not 1 gift wrapped! Ahhh! I did my usual procrastinating last night-god I am sh!te

Maybe I'm wrong about the age limit if the couple find a donor. I thought the limit is set as the older the eggs, the more unlikely they are to be fertilised in vitro...IVF only has a 30% success rate at best. So 2 old volunteers so far. Bunny is much better looking than me and I'm a ginger with scotch blue colouring but your sister is welcome to my ancient/ginger/scotch blue eggs.

Anyhoo, about to sink into the bath and relax. Think my sore throat might be clearing up thankfully. I might get my shopping done this evening. Can Stu pick up some wrapping paper while he's at work? xx

I'm 37 too so prob too old, but I wondered about donating my eggs a few years ago, then thought better of if - no-one would want to knowingly afflict similar cellulite levels onto their offspring!!

On the other topic of the day, I too have to wrap all my presents - bought half price wrapping paper yesterday, so have made a start (in my head) at least!!

Got to think about going to work now though, will do wrapping this evening.....maybe!

Woohooo! I have washed the carpet. :T

That's today's worst job over with. It looks loads better, almost no telltale clean patches where Natasha has thrown up!

Tomorrow's horrible job is to clean the oven...not looking forward to that one. There's only the dusting and polishing to do now before Stu gets home - everything else needs to be done a bit later, so will go and do that now, and then I can relax for a little bit.

Cleaning carpets and ovens Snags?!?!
You are bonkers?-the Xmas wrap will cover any marks on the carpet and the oven will be a mess after a turkey etc.
You need to see the mess the kids have made 'decorating' a gingerbread house (aka eating themselves sick with sweets and icing)

That's exactly what has happened. The possibility of that stopped me contributing sperm at uni because I knew it would happen, and I thought they'd make it retrospective.
