Arrgghhh, I have been a bit silly today. I have made a perfectly nice travel hamper for my Mum and Dad, but this morning I suddenly got it into my head that it was rubbish, and went out and bought them something else too, spending another £30. Why do I do these things???

It's not really a problem as Stu has said if I need to buy anything for Xmas to just put it on the credit card and he will clear it from the money he has got for overtime (there has been a lot of overtime available as they are so busy just before Xmas), but still....

Actually, is it odd that I don't like taking money from him? For the last 10 years I have earned more than him, so have paid for more, and currently I am waiting for MY shares to increase in value so that I can pay off the loan for HIS car, and I don't begrudge any of that because I feel as though my money is his money. But yet I feel uncomfortable when it's the other way round for a change. Weird.

(Not sure that sentence made sense, and I haven't even started on the Xmas 'spirit' yet...:D)

Anyway, I think we are almost there now - just a little bit more cleaning and tidying to do, but will get most of it done today, so that tomorrow we can relax a bit once Stu gets home from work.

Don't forget to defrost your turkeys everyone!!! (thanks Lucy ;))

Mrs S ~ you @r$e looks HUGE in that dress ;) ya great silly billy. You are one of the kindest people I have ever met and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. If for some bizarre reason they didnt like that hamper then stuff 'em (but I totally understand where you are coming from )

I do have to say though I dont understand you on the money things because the way I see it anything wonga-like of miserable bollox's in MINE ~ MINE I TELL YOU ~ Mwahahahahahahaha

    Love ya

Hi Snags, I do that, think a pressie is not good enough and rush out to buy something else. Why ? When I calm down I usually realise that the original was fine . I think I must like making my life difficult. :D
