Thanks Lucy - yes I can't wait for next spring now, to start going on holidays - very cheap ones at first obviously as we now have no money at all! :rotfl:

Ellidee, bless you for worrying about me (I saw your post on IA's thread, thank you :A). I'm okay, I think I just panicked a bit. I'd been lulled into a false sense of security because things had been so....well....normal recently. Ryan has been fine at school today, and seems quite happy and relaxed, so I'm back to 'cautiously optimistic' mode...lol!

How did your job interview go? I've been thinking about you today (in a distinctly un-stalkerish manner :o) and willing you to get it!

Hypno, I've just caught up with your diary - huge congratulations on the job and I'm also very sorry to hear about your Grandpa.

Thanks Snaggles, bit of a strange day - I am so excited I could burst, but at the same time am a bit sad. Roller coaster of a day!!

But the long term thing is good! So that has to be worthy of a :j

Snaggles! Huge apologies for being so useless at keeping up with news lately! That's fantastic news about the camper, sometimes its so nice to just get away for a night and your own camper makes that so much cheaper :T

I'm sorry to hear about Ryan's 'moment', it must have been really worrying for you. The only little bits of advice I can give are based on the fact that my mum's a SENCO. Admittedly in a secondary school but still, I'd imagine its pretty similar with younger kids. I'd say make sure you do speak to the SENCO (I'm sure you will) because there are sometimes things that can be done without (or before) a diagnosis. It all comes down to money though (sad as it is ) so there may not be support readily available unless he gets a 'statement' to say he needs it (for which the school get paid). Do you think he needs support in school?

I'm probably telling you things you already know but if there's anything you want me to try and find out, just say :)

I'll definitely mention it to the clinic and the SENCO - I did wonder about some sort of black-out myself but he's never seemed to have one before that I can remember.

Oh.....and here's the new addition to the family:

Lol, I wish - it will be too cold to use it now until next year! You can't put it away wet, and if you do, you have to open it back up and dry it out within 48 hours (otherwise you get mildew), so it will have to stay closed until spring!

But I will look at it lovingly every day!! :D

Wow, that is HUGE!!! We used to have something similar when I was a kid (albeit a bit browner, and not as posh looking!) It was great cuz it had two little tent-lets on the inside for sleeping in.... Mum used to put it up in the garden sometimes in the summer hols and my little sis and I would 'live' in it for weeks at a time...... Those were the days!
