Hahaha, Toto, I'm right there with you, I think we will definitely be joining you for trick or treating in 20 years time. Ryan is a bit of a stickler for routines too (and even more of a stickler for chocolate ).

And Natasha was dressed as a pumpkin tonight, and even had pumpkin bootees!

    Had to reply... :rotfl:

Didn't you just admit to not being able to cook on Sea's diary?? :p :rotfl:

Why don't you make the Xmas meal kind of pot luck... everyone does a bit. Makes everyone less stressed as they only have a wee bit to provide/cook and all you have to do is heat everything/serve it? Thats what we do in my family now... much less hassle... I always try and put myself down for the soup course as its about the only edible thing I can cook :rotfl: . 2 years ago we had xmas at my Brother's flat and we all had to bring lots of cusions as all his seats are different hights!! That and no-one believed he would own a soup ladle so we all brought one!! :rotfl:

Good idea - I've persuaded my Dad to make the starter :T, and I will be scouring the Old Style boards to see what can be prepared in advance to make it all easier.

I was going to get Mum to do dessert, but she didn't seem keen, so I decided on a Lidl Christmas pudding, and some sort of cold dessert. One of the few things I can make is strawberry cake (pastry, creme patissiere (set custard..lol) and topped with strawberries), so I can make that the day before and just add the strawberries at the last minute.

There's no chance of Stu's Mum doing any cooking sadly - Stu says she used to cook quite a lot when they were younger, but I haven't known her to cook once since I've known her (10 years), so I think I'm pretty much on my own!

I will just ply them all with loads of wine, and they will think it's a gourmet feast!

Camper-man hasn't rung back - looks like we will have to battle it out on ebay. I bet we don't win it. :(

Positive thinking...positive thinking...I am positive we wont win it...no that's not right...I'm positive we can't afford it...no, no, that's not it either.....damn, I'm rubbish at this positive thinking business!!!

If you are prepared to pay full price for it, why not give camper-man a ring and ask if he has considered your offer. If he says it was too low, offer more while you are on the phone and see if you can reach a conclusion.

Come on Mrs S......what are you? A man, or a mouse....... :rotfl:

Actually, my mind isn't really on the camper to be honest, I've just found Ryan behaving really quite oddly and it's scared me a bit. I don't know if it's something relating to Aspergers Syndrome or not, and he seems back to normal now, but I'm a bit upset.
