OMG I've just been looking at our internet banking, and I can't believe how much we have spent this month. We are going to have to be really careful now because the shares are nowhere near what I need them to be to sell them (I think the phrase 'dropping like a stone' describes their recent performance fairly accurately ), so I need to make sure we can make it through till after Xmas at least without running into trouble.

I'm so silly - I paid for the camper insurance on the normal credit card, when I could have used the Egg card (which I only applied for because of the Quidco cashback), which is 0% on purchases (so I could have paid it in installments, which is what I'd intended to do originally). So now I've got to either find a way to clear it in full this month, or pay 18% on it!

Need to do some working out to see if I can sort the mess out...lol!

Just catching up - if you haven't frozen your stock yet, if you have a can of tomatoes and some kidney beans, pop together, heat and blitz. If you've any dried herbs and garlic even better!

    Hello  happy Saturday everyone!

The soup was lovely btw Sea, I will definitely do that again next time. I added carrrot and sweet potato in the end, and even Ryan liked it! Thanks for the cookery lesson. Keren your suggestion sounds lovely too, I'll try that one next!

Ellidee, I did get the jokes, thanks.....really funny! :rotfl:

I'll have a look at balance transferring onto the Egg card, but I'm not sure if the fee would cost more than the interest or not. I'm just having a look now to see how much I've got on the way to my account from cashback sites, bingo, and my recent tentative foray into matched betting (helped along by a true superstar....you know who you are....thank you), and hopefully I might be able to clear it.
