Awwww, thanks for the comments on my signature, I thought it summed things up quite well. :)

But it does make me a bit tearful when I read it, even though it was me that wrote it! :o

We wont get a diagnosis for at least another 4 weeks, they need to go into school and do some observations there (I think that's happening the week after next) and then there will be a meeting a couple of weeks after that, where they will decide if they will make a formal diagnosis or not, and what support he will need from now on.

It makes me feel vaguely terrified even thinking about it. In some ways I hope they do tell us he has aspergers, or high functioning autism, because at least then we will have more chance of getting the help he needs. But on the other hand, it will mean letting go of that little glimmer of hope that he might just magically 'grow out of it' one day.

I've just been accepted for an Alliance and Leicester current account, which I mainly applied for because of the Quidco cashback (£50 :T), but it will come in handy for matched betting if I do go for it!

And Stu's been doing overtime at work, which he's just been paid for, so we've managed to put enough into savings to cover the shortfall on my account for the next 3 months (£112 per month).

So slight sigh of relief for now, but Xmas is coming and we've nowhere near bought everything yet!

Phew, I'm so glad I looked at this thread today (thanks Ellidee for bumping it!), because despite mentioning it last week, I had totally forgotten about my MOT, and it's due this coming week. Fingers crossed it's not too expensive. :o

We think that between Top Cash Back money, bingo money and Stu's overtime, we can clear the £185 off the credit card, but will have to then pay for the MOT on it... :wall:

I may use the new Egg card, which is 0% on purchases for 6 months I think, so that I don't have to panic and pay it off urgently.

If I get through my maternity leave still solvent, it will be a bloody miracle!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
