Morning, happy weekend & happy December!!

I had a few drinks with a friend of mine last night - she had a baby just after me, so we had a couple of bottles of rose while the babies wriggled aroung on a big blanket on the floor. We caught up on gossip, had a laugh, and best of all it only cost the price of 2 bottles of cheapie rose wine.

The babies seem to like each other - her baby was patting Natasha's cheek at one point and they kept laughing at each other. :)

We're going to put our Xmas tree up today, and then go through the Xmas presents we've bought, wrap what we can, and make a list of what we still need to buy.

I still haven't bought Stu anything, in fact I have no idea what to get him at all. We've set a budget of £30, but I can't think of anything!

Hope everyone is having a nice, cheap weekend. xxx

    Hi :)

Lovely day planned there Snaggles - I have a similar one planned i think!

I'm doing a little pamper hamper for my OH - little toiletries, a shaving brush thingy, a posh razor, a few treat things - max about £30 - also a little voucher booklet but keeping it clean!! Things like a lie in with no nagging etc lol. He's a nightmare to buy for.

  • Snaggles whats going on you haven't updated your diary for sooooo long!! Just saying hi back to you - all is good. Although I lost the baby, scanned at 5 weeks and again at 7, felt pregnant, putting on weight, huge boobs and no bleeding etc, but second scan still showed empty sac so I opted for a d&c. I was a little upset but in the vein of IDA got up and dusted my self down, definately not starting all over again though (lol). This pregnancy was an accident and at 43 (with 4 children already!) really think I'm too old to do it deliberately!! But was lovely off you to say hi - really don't get on here as much as I'd like! Take care.
    love and hugs

Oh IDA - so sorry to hear that. I am glad you are feeling positive and are still off the fags despite it all - fantastic!!!:D

Snaggles - I know that there has been criticism of the diaries, but not everyone thinks it and I miss yours - I love the diaries and like hearing about the everyday stuff as well as debt reducing (yes, am nosy!!).
