    Morning!

Stu has gone back to work today - I'll give him a quick call later to make sure he's okay, but he seemed fine. No word from the job interview yet. I'm hoping he might hear at the beginning of next week as they will have finished interviewing by then.

I'm a bit gutted this morning because I have stuck to my diet religiously this week, and done quite a bit of exercise, but have somehow gained 3lbs.

Going to have a housework spree today to see if that will burn some calories off! :D

I need to do some Lightspeed surveys too, because I nearly have enough points to transfer £15 to Paypal, which would come in very handy!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello!

Oh yes, Ryan has just discovered swearing too..... :o:mad::eek: indeed.....

Our Sainsburys is a pilot scheme for some REmploy project for poeple with disabilities so a lot of staff in wheelchairs, learning difficulties and down's syndrome (and it's actually much better run and staffed than any other supermarket in the area) - quite brave of them. I'm pleased everytime I go there that they were prepared to take the risk, but the trolley collector with tourettes brightens my day - every time I go there he shouts

*Cee-you-en-tee* at the top of his voice, with a big welcoming smile

Tasha is on the mend I think thanks, although it's really wiped her out - she's having her second nap of the day already!

STILL haven't heard from work - I'm only going to start chasing them up if I haven't heard by the time Stu finds out about his job though, because to be honest, they are doing me a favour by giving me all this extra thinking/deciding/investigating time.

I have found a possible childcare solution, in the form of an angel of a childminder who has experience of special needs children, but it needs a lot more discussion yet to see if it would work. But it's a 'maybe' at least.

BB, that sounds like such a fab scheme - I think one of our local supermarkets does something similar because there are quite a few people with disabilities working there. I have to confess that I have a very childish sense of humour, so swearing really makes me laugh, especially random, inappropriate swearing!

Ryan's speciality is currently the 'f' word, although because we don't really say that (much :o) at home, he doesn't really know how to use it in context, and a few times I've had to hide behind a book, with my shoulders shaking with laughter at something he's said.

Glad Tasha's on the mend......and yes how are YOU too ? :)
So behind with all the diaries -settling into work but had a blip when Josh got suspended for a day on Monday for swearing at a teacher <sigh> Read him the riot act-and told the school having worked in education I'm not the parent of a "mis-understood" child and I was NOT acceptable. Seems to have given him the required "short sharp shock"-I hope !!
Am considering going on a hunt for the car with a dodgy alarm that has been going off intermitently for days (and nights) at random times-driving me NUTS

    Lol, sorry! :o

I feel like hell actually, but I'm quite upbeat, considering the lack of sleep, back pain, 3lbs gained and pounding head! :D

Grrrr, despite doing 3 surveys, taking almost 2 hours, I am still 5 points short of being able to transfer £15 to Paypal.....how annoying! :p

Eeep, sorry to hear about Josh, Duchy. Let me know if you want a hand looking for that car, I'm in the mood for a bit of random destruction! :rotfl:

Stu has just had a call about the job interview he went for....he's got through the interview stage, and has to go for a driving assessment. If he passes that, he will get the job! :T :T :T :T
