Awww Moz - fantastic news about the debt, and I'm glad you are finding the support you need here. I can honestly say this site has brought me back from the brink of depression, and probably divorce - just having somewhere to talk things through with people who care helps so much.
I don't know everything about your situation, but have gathered along the way that you have been through an unbelievably difficult time. But you give support to many people on here too, and your posts are funny and heartfelt.
Enjoy the drink - I'm just deciding whether to have a drink or not, although I should probably give my liver chance to recover from last night! Lo"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Oh - the food shop - we spent £94, but I think all we will need for the rest of the month will be milk/bread/fruit/veg, so maybe £20 per week-ish.
We bought a few cheap dvds in that too, because we are going to try and have a film night once a week - we bought The Last King of Scotland, The History Boys and My Super Ex-girlfriend. I think that might be what you would call eclectic! We've borrowed (from SIL) Walk the Line and Million Dollar Baby too (which was on tv the other day but we missed it).
Anyone seen any of them? Any good?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Oh thanks, I am pleased I must admit. I found this place just in time. I'd got loads of debt, but all on cards, all at 0%, so that was fine wasn't it? Well, no, not when it got to the point where I was struggling to pay the minimum, and congratulating myself on 'paying off' a card, when I was either transferring it to another, or building up extra debt alongside it.
Still, finally wised up before it got to a point where I was in real trouble, rather than just floundering. This year I've set myself a realistic budget, and okay, it's only month 2, but I'm sticking to it, and getting the buzz out of that, that I used to get from buying a load of cheap tat.
Anyway, not meaning to hijack Snaggles' thread, which is one of those that is an inspiration to read, along with IA's SS's and more that really mean the world to me to read.
Seriously, you are the nicest people.0 -

It can't be any worse than "The Avengers" also starring Uma..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
