Woohoo, Stu got the job! :j :j :j

Oh my goodness, it will be so nice to have a regular salary coming in - not sure how much it will be yet, just going to try and work it all out and then will need to do a new SOA.

I am soooooo proud of him! :D:D

Right, I think it's £7 per hour, 8 hours a day, so £14,560 basic, which is £978 per month according to my gross to net calculator thingy (courtesy of Tigtag :)). Then there's an option of working an extra hour a day, at £10 an hour, which would take it to £17,160, or £1,123 per month!

Wow, that would be great!! Before he got made redundant he was earning £830 a month (although that WAS including pension contributions - he will be eligible for his new company pension scheme after he has completed his 3 month probationary period, so he will get slightly less net once he starts paying that).

:T Great news hun. Really pleased for you. Give Stu a big slap on the back (or summat) from me. Whoo hoo. How is everyone in the Snags household. Are you and Tash feeling better? Has Stu recovered from his bump the other day ? What will Stu's new job entail. This turning into 20 questions lol. Last one - is Ryan on half term this week ? Some of us were wondering were you were earlier. You know you are not allowed a 'proper' life don't you. Take care X El

well done to your OH on the new job, that will be a welcome relief I bet.

re the film night, we havent bought a DVD in ages, DH finds them all online. Might be worth a search, even if you watch it once and subsequently buy it, at least you know if its a dud theres nothing to lose.
