Oh, I knew there was something else I was going to say too....

I had the funniest conversation the other day, with someone I know who is a bit designer-clothes-obsessed (and also hugely in debt, funnily enough ).

Her: Oh, what a cute outfit (the red one in the above photos) - where did you get it?
    Me: Cherokee
Her: Oh, is that John Rocha's childrens diffusion range?
    Me: Um...no....it's Tescos own brand......:o

    LOL!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Love the designer clothes conversation - just goes to show really, doesn't it!!

Glad that the work thing is sorted for a few months, at least it takes some of the pressure off you both.

Hope Ryan has a good day back at school - will you be able to talk to them about additional help for him?

    Hi Snaggles
Sorry I haven't posted since the begining of the thread, but I have had my head down trying to get my OU course finished (this is a temporary breather between essays and project!). I am glad that things are progressing so well for you. And glad Stu has got a job. It certainly makes things a bit easier.

Liked the bit about the sat nav. Just goes to show how MSE continues to save you money even after you have done the big stuff (utilities etc). Whilst I wouldn't say it saves me money everyday, it certainly does everytime I buy anything, because I don't just go for the first site that has it!

Anyway good luck with Ryan's assessments, and may your share price only increase

Phew.....just had the busiest week of my life I think! :D

My birthday was great, I had breakfast in bed made for me by Ryan (he chose what we were having, so it was cocoa pops all round lol), and I got some lovely presents.

On Thursday we had the meeting with Ryan's school, and it was really helpful, they seem keen to provide him with as much support as possible, and the man from the Camhs team said to us afterwards that with a supportive school, he had every confidence that Ryan will do well in mainstream education, and he had high hopes for a very positive outcome for him. It meant such a lot to us that he said that.

On Friday it was Ryan's birthday, and also one of my best friends got married. We got up early for a birthday breakfast, Ryan opened his presents, then we took him to school and drove 2 hours to Liverpool for the wedding. It was so lovely - it had a medieval theme, so eveyone was in costume, including the bride and groom. Then we drove 2 hours back, to pick Ryan up from school. We took him to see Harry Potter, which he loved, and he eventually collapsed into bed at 9.30pm!

On Saturday we went to Flamingoland - we couldn't find any 2 for 1 vouchers, but we paid for the tickets online (through lastminute.com) and saved £5 per ticket...wooo!

It was a fantastic day out, Ryan loves rollercoasters, and I even went on the Corkscrew, which was brilliant, although it really hurt my boobs.... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, and last night we went up to Stu's sisters house for pizza and drinks (paid for by Stu's Mum :T), and today my sisters have been over for a mini birthday party. So we are all tired out and now lolling in front of the telly watching Goblet of Fire (one of Ryan's presents) and nibbling left over party food...:D

Is Kumali the water one? I've been on it once and....NEVER AGAIN!!! In fact me and Ryan call that ride the 'never again ride' :D I was terrified!! And I'm not usually a wuss on rides, I LOVE them.

The Corkscrew didn't hurt my head, but it did hurt my boobs!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Snaggles, it sounds as though you have all had a fab week. Lets hope the next week is just as fab, although perhaps a little less hectic and costly!!

It was rather costly unfortunately :o although the Flamingoland trip wasn't too bad, because we had budgetted £100 for a party for Ryan, and he decided he didn't want one, so £75 on Flamingoland tickets (we took his Aunty, his cousin and his Grandma too ), and probably about £20 in petrol (we had to take 2 cars  ) was just about under budget. We took a picnic too, so avoided the crazy prices they charge for food in there.
