do you live near to Flamingo Land? x
Oh, THAT one!! No, I didn't go on it (my excuse was I was wearing sandals). We're about an hour and a half from Flamingoland, so we set off at about 9am and got there for about 10.30am. It's a really good day out I think, we tend to go once a year, but usually with my work (and it costs £5!), but because I'm on maternity leave I didn't get to go with them this year.

Thanks Sammy and Beanie, yes, things are going suspiciously well just at the moment, although with Stu only working one day last week, we are in a right old state with the accounts - I can't figure out where all our money is...!!
I'm just checking the accounts every day, and moving money around if necessary - once it all settles down, I will work out new budgets etc, but for now it's just a case of hoping for the best."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I've been a bit good this morning!! I was sitting outside, having a little chat to people on here, and the battery died on the laptop (it's a bit dodgy and only lasts for about 30 minutes).
So I went inside and plugged it in, but instead of signing back on, I went back outside, went in the shed (this is an achievement in itself owing to the HUGE number of spiders that live in there), pulled out a bag of beige powdery stuff that I'm hoping was cement, mixed it with some water and fixed our front and back doorsteps, a dodgy bit of the little wall at the side of our house, and a hole in our back wall where a pipe used to go in (but has now been moved).
It all looks okay so far, but we will see once it has set!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Thanks!! Stu will keel over from shock when he gets home from work today! Mind you, I've been asking him to do this little DIY job for about 3 years now :rotfl: so I decided it was time for a bit of GIRL POWER!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I know!!!
Stu has finished early (grrrrr....nice to see him but we need the money...lol), and he looked at my handiwork and said 'who did that?'!! He was quite amazed when I said 'me', and even more amazed when I told him about battling the spiders in the 'shed of doooooom'!! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
