    Wooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

My car insurance quote came through a couple of days ago and it was £432. I've just been on Confused.com,and found a quote for £201 with the Post Office. So I went onto Quidco, and bought the policy via them, with £27 cashback! :T :T

A year ago I would have just paid the £432........I LOVE MSE!!!

Are the post office still doing the cashback like last year £50?

I have been into work this week but have yet too copy your info to send as catching up with all the changes (new boss while I've been away!), I will sort everything out over the weekend ready to copy and post on Monday.

I didn't see anything about a £50 cashback offer Ev, but you got one month free (included in the £201) and £27 cashback from Quidco (if it tracks!).

The weird thing about the quote I got was, it came up at £201, and then I noticed Stu's job title was wrong (it said he worked for the driving authority??), so I changed it to 'delivery driver' and put the business as 'delivery services' , and the price jumped to £253.....so then I went back in and amended it to 'parcel delivery' (I didn't see this option till I scrolled right through them all), and it went back to £201! Very strange!!

So it's well worth making sure you have job titles etc exactly right!

  • Hi Snags - love the new plan! Have you cashed in your shares yet (I've done my usual and read the first post and then dived straight without reading the rest of the thread - it's my most endearing quality I feel).

Well hello Mr DD! I haven't cashed them in just yet, they need to come up a little bit in order to clear the loan....I know it's a risk, but if I don't make enough to clear it, I'm stuck with it, because you can't pay lump sums into it. And I work for a huge company....I mean HUGE.....so the chances of them crashing massively are there, but fairly small, if you see what I mean.

Where is your sig? I was wondering how the mortgage repaying was going? I may be joining your mortgage free in 3 thread soon!

Is your company one train station up from Sowerby Bridge and one down from Bradford?
