Well, that was odd - they've just rung!

It's just getting more and more stressful though. CAMHS say they have left a few messages for the school learning mentor (who Ryan spends quite a lot of time with) to contact them, but they haven't had a reply, so they still haven't got a clear picture of Ryan's behaviour at school.

So I've just rung school myself and left a message asking her to contact CAMHS asap, but she's not in until tomorrow. Anyway, they have told me that providing them get the info they need this week, Ryan's case will be re-looked at in clinic on the 21st, and they will ring us then to confirm their diagnosis.

Feeling quite sick now and could cry with frustration. :(

It's fine, just normal - she seems perfectly okay. She looked frightened when she was shaking, but not sure if she was frightened because she was shaking or shaking because she was frightened. Probably the second one.

Bloody hell, I'M shaking, I can hardly type. What on earth am I going to be like when they ring me next week???

Aww Snags it must be so hard for you. On a positive note it is only another week so hang on in there. Easy for me to say I know. XX

Yes, I've done the school run in the freezing cold and the rain, and I'm feeling a lot calmer now. It's not so much the waiting that has upset me (I'm used to that ), it's the school not bothering to contact CAMHS, and also it's realising that this is it now, we might actually get a diagnosis. We've been fighting for it for so long, so I know I will have mixed feelings whatever they say.

    Anyway, enough wallowing.....:D

What's everyone up to today? Anything nice?

I wouldn't worry too much then

As for Ryan ~ all the worry in the world isnt going to change what they say, have a glass of wine and chillax. If their *findings* warrant a worry session then I shall gladly join you in one if the time comes

Yes, could have been - she did get woken up by the arrival of my friend and her 2 daughters (age 2 and 6 months), so it was probably quite a shock. She hasn't acted strangely at all since it happened.

Kids eh? HOW much stress???? :p
