This is a total distortion of the issues raised at Beavis, and should I think, be reported to the BPA? What do others think?

I agree, pretty much everything in their rejection is a total misrepresentation of the facts, or sidestepping the appeal points.

"I must also stress that simply sending in standard template responses, most likely obtained from the internet, will not resolve the matter. In addition, I would recommend that professional legal advice be sought on this matter as an alternative."

  • I seem to have an even bigger problem relating to my parking charges now and I wondered if anyone had any advice? I checked the tenancy over the weekend and there is absolutely no mention of parking spaces or permits, which is good news. However, when I spoke to my partner about contacting the landlord about putting my name on the tenancy, he flat out refused. He said because he is only on a month to month rolling contract, he fears the landlord could evict him if he asks about putting me on the tenancy. Also, his reasoning is that even if my name is put on the tenancy, I have been parking in the building for almost four months before being on the lease, in which case I would have no case, should this ever go to court.

My question is, should I even bother appealing since I am not technically a tenant in the building, or should I just contact the parking company and try and arrange a payment plan? Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Do not contact the parking company. Use the hard won PoPLA code and beat these scammers.
Don't waste time overthinking this; start researching and find then modify a PoPLA appeal from the PoPLA decisions thread that closely matches yours.

You should not consider paying them, just because you're a long term visitor rather than a tenant doesn't actually make the charges valid.

Stick with the standard POPLA appeals and get them cancelled.
