Need SFSB to drop by with a supply of pop, he's got enough! :rotfl:

Think I'll stick to wine I do like. I really fancied a glass last night, must be on the mend! Food is actually pretty good. Not much choice, especially for veggies like me, but fresh cooked and tasty (apart from the lemon cake I ordered last night which tasted like they'd flavoured it with lemon washing up liquid!:rotfl:).

My inlaws did a 14 night one with them last year and really enjoyed it. They've been looking for one for September or October this year but not had any luck finding one at a price they want to pay (think they were spoiled by the bargain they got last year). They definitely rated it though.

Glad you're starting to feel better LS.
Lovely gesture from your roomie as well x

    2 Monopole Champagne
    1 Santa Lanson
    1 tesco vintage cava
    1 sparkling Pinot Grigio
    1 Plaza prosecco

Was going to comment on the taste, but can see that most people are more interested in the perceived value. The only thing I will say is that they should be stored lying down so that the corks don't dry out. Champagne is really meant for drinking unless it is a special vintage. You do wonder how old these presents become when they keep being passed around as gifts!

The more I see The Bill on Watch the more I believe ITV lost one of their best regular dramas :(. Such a stupid decision.

Totally agree. Easy watching and was such a good series. I remember in the very last programme, they brought all the crew in as extras for the press briefing scene, so they would have their place recorded on film for posterity.

  • Wish my OH would go on a cruise. I love being on the water, we have been on a three night cruise across the Bay of Biscay to Bilbao, got a bit choppy but was great fun.

I do have good sea legs though, there was one time when I was on a ferry to france and it was borderline if it would sail because it was so rough, got a lovely big breakfast that day because no-one else was eating :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The only downside was that the boat stank
