Does anyone here have any experience of Thompsons Cruises ? They do look fairly cheap and cheerful and I was thinking that they might be worth a try for a first timer - I'm quite happy with an inside cabin but the AI would be useful. And they fly from Bristol which is handy. Thopsons are not one of my favourite operators but the cruises might be worth a try. I'm not sure when their 'Summer' for the AI upgrades starts though.

Never been on one myself, but I have never heard a bad thing from anyone that has been on them. They dont provide the luxury of other companies, but what they lack in luxury, apparently they give back in fun, atmosphere and enjoyment.

    2 Leprince-Royer Epernay Champagne
1 Tesco finest* 1531 Blanquette De Limox 2012
    1 Piccini Prosecco
    1 Dino Prosecco
Approx £76, so not as good as usual for me.

Is the Leprince the let down DM? Is it the one that's usually about £15 bottle? If it is I have a bottle from a wedding taste mix I got with code last year but not tried it yet.

    Thanks! :)

My inlaws did a 14 night one with them last year and really enjoyed it. They've been looking for one for September or October this year but not had any luck finding one at a price they want to pay (think they were spoiled by the bargain they got last year). They definitely rated it though.

I think I will look into this - I want a cheap deal with drinks and I don't mind a lower deck inside cabin as, if I am going to be sea sick (not a brilliant sailor) the last thing I will want to see is the water outside a porthole or window! We both just think that so many people have said how wonderful cruises are its time we found out what we might be missing.

my shop from today - had a very big dither about the simples as my barcode was different to what I'd written down but it looked like the right stuff and it seems to have worked (although I am having a maths fail and I cant figure out the true cost of 3 simples)

Huge thanks also for the choc trio - one for OH and 2 for me

The Elite is a band of fabulous people :j

Don't suck your teeth in about the Yorkshires, yes even I do better ones than the overpriced frozen version but my house is a scene of devastation - doing one bathroom means 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, stairway, porch and garden all look like builders yards :(

Just the over all value, I am used to getting at least double what I paid for. Never mind, £8 a bottle is still good :D

Green apples and ginger will help stop any sickness.
If you are at Bristol, look out for any cheap P&O cruises from Southampton.
