Sorry to hear about your eyes.
It is a brilliant procedure. You won't believe the difference it makes.
I would put it on par with going to the dentist although it involves about 5 hours at the hospital. Most of the time is spent in a waiting room where they come around every 1/2 hour to put drops in.The actual op takes about 20 minutes. They do recommend bringing a sandwich with you and my hospital had tea and coffee on tap.The chairs were really comfy as well.
After your knee op you will find it a doddle.
Best thing I have ever had done.No more thick lens in the glasses. My sight prescription has gone from 7.5 to .5 in the eye that I have had done.

Remember Bejams (bought out by Iceland) I think I heard somewhere that the bloke that started it started Farmfoods.
They used to do good sized plaice which were stuffed with prawns and other things in a sauce. OMG I could eat one now. Lemon sole with delicious stuffing too.
They also used to do Bombes - chocolate covered half spheres of ice-cream with different sorbets inside.
Coquilles St Jacques were really inexpensive there.
I remember us visiting there & mum filling the freezer with all their delicacies. I hardly ever visit Iceland now as it seems to have really gone downhill - It's OK if you want a double aisle of Pizza, Sausage rolls or pies but I've not seen anything in there that I couldn't get elsewhere.
Taste buds are going nuts - anyone know where I can get good stuffed fish? I know Marks used to do them but not seen them in eons.
My mum worked there , then went to Iceland and retired from there and i had my first chest freezer from there lasted about 20 odd yrs, maybe a bit less actually but more than 15:TSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

Well done to your DD FC. My DS passed in July, and was lucky enough to be bought a car by his grandparents as an early 18th present. He has had it around 3 weeks now.
He does have P plates, although we printed them out and stuck the on both windscreens, as the cheapie ones we bought from the poundshop flew off as the magnets weren't very good!
I think they are useful. As you said, the insurance scammers are everywhere, and as a police officer certainly in my force it doesn't seem to be people with p plates that are picked on any more than anyone else. DS is still not always great with hill starts, although getting better, so its nice to have a warning to others (if they bother to look!). Whenever he drives anywhere I make him text me when he gets there, can't help being worried! :rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Morning all :hello:
Is it just me who always forgets shopping bags until I'm at the store
Handy tip: always buy something you don't want, then when you return it, you have remembered your bag :cool:xxlouisexx56 wrote: »I walked out of tkmaxx with an armfull of clothes! Must make it hard to tell who has paid and who is shoplifting
Funnily enough chap in a's said to me the only thing with people bringing own bags is the undesirable, put stuff in and walk out:eek:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

OMG - very glad I did my orders yesterday and the day before.
I collected one order from Marks and now I am having serious doubts - I got a dress in 2 sizes which is supposed to be a shift dress but it has pockets, not lined and very thin. Anyway I will have a try on after the bath and make a decision.
in the photos it looked quite Boden but its not
the other one I am collected from Wilkos tomorrow but as that order is mainly loo paper that order will be fine“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
