mhoc why have only you got those new badges ?

I didn't even realise I had badges - I think these are justification for hanging about this thread when I should be going to do something useful and productive :rotfl:

I would also go inside if it was a choice of inside or outside. Nice and dark if you fancy a little afternoon nap, and you can always switch the TV onto the bridge camera to see where you are going.

Oooo, I will be in Lisbon in a couple of weeks, tell me more please.

OMG - you have not been to Lisbon  I thought is was obligatory to go to Lisbon when you go south like having to go to Bergen when you go to Norway :D

set your alarm for the crack of dawn, put on as much clothing as you can - take a scarf and hat as it will be freezing go to the Horizon and get a mug of coffee and go out on the top deck - make sure your camera is charged.

the sail in along the Tagus is very beautiful, you can see quite a few of the best sites of Lisbon as you sail along. as you go under the bridge it sounds like a hive of very angry bees - google and see if you can find a you tube video

The last few times we have berthed much closer into the city within easy walking distance of Praça do Com!rcio - (black horse square) and from there its a straight walk into town. as you walk along keep checking the pastry shops for Pastel de Belem - Portugese custard tarts - they come in different size bags and prices - def need to get a bag of these to take back on the ship :)

I was wondering what those badges are for - it's to do with number of posts, first forum post, ten posts, a hundred posts and so on

We should all have them by looks of it. :rotfl:

I've got no badges....but I have found my OH's watch...

Some of you might remember it went missing about this time last year and at the time I was a little upset as it was the very first gift I bought him,and at the time 20 odd years ago it was probably an expensive purchase...
anyway it went missing and we turned the house upside down to no avail,we checked our rental flats as tenants moved out in case it had been left there and all the items we put in storage at about the same time....christmas came and went and we resigned to the fact the watch was gone...
until this evening....and its just turned up at the back of the clothes horse we have in the bedroom....sure we must have checked that at the time...but there it was
They say that sometimes things reappear...I think that saying is true today.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

That's a good point, you would think we would all qualify for those :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OK, that's weird, I didn't have them a few minutes ago
