I've got no badges....but I have found my OH's watch...

Some of you might remember it went missing about this time last year and at the time I was a little upset as it was the very first gift I bought him,and at the time 20 odd years ago it was probably an expensive purchase...
anyway it went missing and we turned the house upside down to no avail,we checked our rental flats as tenants moved out in case it had been left there and all the items we put in storage at about the same time....christmas came and went and we resigned to the fact the watch was gone...
until this evening....and its just turned up at the back of the clothes horse we have in the bedroom....sure we must have checked that at the time...but there it was
They say that sometimes things reappear...I think that saying is true today.

Glad you found OH watch :T:T:T

That's a good point, you would think we would all qualify for those :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OK, that's weird, I didn't have them a few minutes ago

 Wonder if we all going to get them

The bad news is I didn't get any Tassimo caramel, closest I got 3 stores was the SEL. :(

That was because I didn't get out early this morning due to crisis call from DD2 in Stoke. Car oil light pressure on. So my morning spent finding a garage long distance while she was in lectures. She took it earlier and they confirmed thankfully it is only the oil pressure switch and nothing more serious and I picked a garage that was open on a Saturday morning so they are fitting her in tomorrow. I hope they are as good as their online reviews. Didn't really fancy her driving it all the way back here like it and she was on about going to Manchester tomorrow to see a friend a stop over. :sighs:

Quidco told me on livechat that they've pulled the £10 promo

"We are honouring this for people that have activated and made a purchase before the offer was closed at 11:00 on the 09/10/2015

We had to close the promotion due to high demand, unfortunately those that did not activate the bonus and make a purchase before the offer was closed will not be eligible"

So it would seem that even if you activated it, if you haven't actually made a purchase by this morning you can whistle for the £10.

What was the point in activating it then? They should have pulled it when X people activated, not when X people claimed it

At least I have one qualifying transaction on one account so I'm potentially £10 better off than I otherwise would be. I would just have felt better if I got a backup transaction done

it sends tingles down your spine, doesn't it when freeky things like this happen and you find things that you have long lost

whatever your faith or lack of it then there is no harm in whispering a little thank you to Saint Anthony - patron saint of lost things :A

Everyone is checking out the alcohol aisle in their Ts aren't they?

Looks like I missed out on some good single malt whisky for Mr TS. No green mark vodka left.

Did spot litre bottles of baileys coffee for £10 and strawberry pimms for £8 at TP, anyone local to me. Also Thorntons chocolate liquer at either TP or FB I forget now. :o

35ml Jura whisky £9 (wonder if RTC for aau). Lots of others were gone incl 50cl Glenfiddich 12 year £12.50 and litre bottle of possibly Glenlivet £24. Might have got that slightly wrong.

It's is worth a good look as few SELs for £2.74/5 wine mostly whites, I got some simply chardonnay.

Also shout out to DM that some sherry and port RTC too, Finest late bottle port £5.50 75cl, and croft £5.50 same size. Quite a few had gone like Dows, but some nice gift boxed ones if you wanted them about half price in my local.
