Got home from hospital to find DS1 here with DS4. Kettle on and sat around chatting until DS1 went to do his shopping then bus home.

My eyes are still wide open, hard to blink etc  results from today's visit is that I have cataracts, these prevent fluid from draining and are the cause of pressure building up in the eye and can cause glaucoma.

Right, so I now await an appointment to go and have the first one done. Have also been told today that as my eyes are at the moment, with these glasses, I am not 100% suitable for driving  so Mr Optician had better pull his finger out and get my new glasses ready quick smart :)

I have noticed my eye sight getting worse and had just assumed it was due to the fact I was needing new glasses, just goes to show. So I should get an appointment within 2 months and it looks like I'll be starting a New Year not clear of hospitals but still on the ruddy treadmill of treatments grrrrrrr

Sorry to moan, I realise there are others on here much worse if than me (((hugs))) to you all.

I'm going to open a bottle of something nice tonight, make it last for 2 or 3 nights. Lovely weekend :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Thank you from me too, David. I was looking for this this morning, although I was sure it was Lurpak. No wonder it didn't come up in a search!

Oh dear :( sorry to hear this AJ. It is a bit tiresome to spending so much time traipsing to medical appointments. You've had one thing after another this past year hug4.gif At least the cataracts treatment is quick and painless I believe, which is something.

OMG Just paid full price for ordinary hand wash! Need to have a cuppa to get over the shock - still it will give me a chance to have a skim read back!
