I have 50 points on a £30 petrol site spend

The mrs has 250 points on next spend at a petrol site

So I'll swipe my card when I fill up to take advantage of the bonus 50 points on top of the current 10 nectar points per litre promo (and I'll also be using my 8p off a litre voucher that I got when I spent £20 in clothes at the same time as I used a £2 off £20 and 800pts wys £20 on clothes :money:)

Whilst I'm there I'll buy a wham bar and swipe the wife's card to get 250 the bonus points

    Wow that's brilliant:money:

    Morning all :hello:

Is it just me who always forgets shopping bags until I'm at the store :o

Handy tip: always buy something you don't want, then when you return it, you have remembered your bag

Yes I did this morning, annoying thing is all my Shaws bags are in my boot, and I still forgot them. Ended up carrying everything out in my handbag and holding everything.

is there a British embassy and if so does he know where it is and how to get there?

also has he got adequate travel or backpackers insurance?

do you have a scan or a file with a copy of his passport on so you have the numbers and details incase of passport problems?

other than that, that is about all we can do for them - all 3 of mine are the same, terrible itchy feet, always wanting to be somewhere else, the youngest is by far the worst

worst still it is all my fault. I always encouraged them to do all the school trips, scout weekends away and camps, all of the ATCs summer camps and sporting and exercise weekends away, student exchange programmes - all they have ever know is being in a constant state of flux, getting ready and planning to go somewhere :D

I did the same, they all did anything that was dangerous, especially kayaking and climbing. But he is the only one with itchy feet. He has lived in some weird places, but this is the most remote. The most worrying was when he was in Qatar as there were war ships lined up off the shore (we in our wisdom sent him a sea kayak as an escape route.... we always have to plan how we could get him out and when this is done we relax)

His employer has sorted all of his insurances out, and as they are a big international copy he should be okay. We also have a copy of his passport, although it is so old I am amazed they let him travel.

He sent us an e-mail yesterday asking for us to fill out customs forms... as he has sent bedding home...209 USD later.....I could kill him at times.

My anxieties will reduce soon x

If it's on an older ipad or iPhone you can't download flash as it doesn't support it. In the past I've had to download it on my laptop, add to iTunes, then transfer it to a device. I don't know if this is case for newer models though. Hope that helps :)

Afternoon all, hope the elite flu crew are feeling better today x

Fantastic Friday! - Hi everyone
    Jeremy Corbyn for Prime Minister!
Then we can stop wasting money on warfare, improve the NHS, build more houses for the poor, and improve community services.

Just been reminiscing with hubby about things you could get here 25-30yrs ago or maybe longer & wondering why you couldn't buy them now?

Remember Bejams (bought out by Iceland) I think I heard somewhere that the bloke that started it started Farmfoods.
They used to do good sized plaice which were stuffed with prawns and other things in a sauce. OMG I could eat one now. Lemon sole with delicious stuffing too.
They also used to do Bombes - chocolate covered half spheres of ice-cream with different sorbets inside.
Coquilles St Jacques were really inexpensive there.

I remember us visiting there & mum filling the freezer with all their delicacies. I hardly ever visit Iceland now as it seems to have really gone downhill - It's OK if you want a double aisle of Pizza, Sausage rolls or pies but I've not seen anything in there that I couldn't get elsewhere.

Taste buds are going nuts - anyone know where I can get good stuffed fish? I know Marks used to do them but not seen them in eons.
