Now, what can we get them to offer us for £25?

or do we have to spend it on their featured offers?

(I just went back to read the email but on one of my accounts it is actually just a bog-standard "we couldn't beat your price" rather than a "here's £25 for you" :( Oh well, can't complain ;))

ETA: the HUKD thread confirms it works on Beat My Price offers :money:

    Hope it continues.

Please do not try Windows 10 again, the reason they give the upgrades away is they want a lot of guinea pigs to iron out the problems. I never touch another OS until at least a year after it comes out and then only on a new computer. Microsoft are a liability sometimes:eek:

I've had to uninstall windows 10 from my computer because of the compatibility issues with AOL.....slow running, timing out, dropping connection, shutting down mid email the list goes on.

All worked fine initially but after a few weeks its become a real pain so it all came out over the weekend!

Thank you, why didn't I ask on here before I started messing.

It's all back to normal now, thank you.

    Afternoon all :)

Windows 10 is bad news if you value your privacy

here’s one excerpt from Microsoft privacy statement

we will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to: 1.comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including from law enforcement or other government agencies; 2.protect our customers, for example to prevent spam or attempts to defraud users of the services, or to help prevent the loss of life or serious injury of anyone; 3.operate and maintain the security of our services, including to prevent or stop an attack on our computer systems or networks; or 4.protect the rights or property of Microsoft, including enforcing the terms governing the use of the services – however, if we receive information indicating that someone is using our services to traffic in stolen intellectual or physical property of Microsoft, we will not inspect a customer’s private content ourselves, but we may refer the matter to law enforcement.

When I upgraded was told to watch for a box and cant remember now if had to tick or untick box. This was so Microsoft couldn't do the above . Was easy to miss if you wasn't aware box was there . I nearly missed it and was waiting and ready to spot it :o.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
A simple trip into town on Sunday that involved walking from the car-park, visiting 2 shops and walking back to the car-park made me realise I'm definitely not up to public transport yet, and would struggle to make the very short walk from the train station to the hospital.

Several weeks after my knee replacement I visualised myself on the bus going a 14 mile journey into Ipswich. Getting off said bus at the top of town, walking down passed M&S, calling in for a meal deal, then carry on to Costa for a coffee and cake before getting the bus back. I thought about this so much and felt so ready to do it. :)

It was only after DS3 took me to hospital for my check up, then we stopped off at MrA. I didn't need shopping, just looked at some of their nightwear whilst ge shopped. I felt absolutely knackered and realised then that no way was I ready for the public transport and a jaunt out

You will get there LS, so will I. I used to love going into Ipswich by bus, spend 2 or 3 hours there then bus home. One day, one day :)

In a way I'm pleased it started when holiday ended - imagine being 'ruff as dogs' in company :eek::o:o

Parents have left now & neither wanted to kiss me Goodbye :( but in their defence they are 80 yrs old & a ghastly 'virus' is not on their list of must haves :D :rotfl:

    Nanny - bestest ♥

Managed to load my photos onto laptop so when I have the mental strength back I might bore you with my holiday snaps :D

Have you surfaced yet Snap :o. I don't want to wake you, just wandered how you are feeling after a sleep?
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
