Thats a shame..although I have been able to get lots of points added recently from wombles where people dont have a club card...today I found 2 receipts totaling 120 points....

I've moved to a T where I am sure English may not be the native language of many of the shoppers and as such they are discarding receipts all over the car park without a thought for what gems they may contain.

that's an interesting thought, some of the wombles I've collected have also had some very exotic items on them so I don't think there is a culture of loyalty points collecting anywhere outside of the UK (OK maybe the states but not in Europe?)

even so every Mt T I come across both local and on my travels have scrubbed clean car parks so wombles are rare.

I hate our local also because of the way the car park is set out you really do risk getting your car written off trying to drive onto it so your nerves are wrecked by the time you park up :(

The boy child took "advantage" of free W10, luckily he had (well, I had) made discs so he could return to his original OS.
Does anyone have a good word for W10 ?
    (keep it clean)

I upgraded from W7 last week, one failed instal and a google check to find out that no USBs should be plugged in at the time. Then upgrade was easy.
My 3 year old laptop starts up faster and seems to run more smoothly.

Ours has almost scrubbed clean car park BUT I have seen a trolley man throwing back down scrunched up receipts, probably because their bag/pockets are already full of lucrative ones!

Our local is a nightmare as you can save quite a lot of time going in one way & out the other. Sometimes it's like boy racer time & goodness help you if you are trying to reverse out! They did have a drop down barrier but lost a few when the racers didn't stop:eek: Think they've given up now.:(

Tesco store left with only 16 baskets after almost 500 are stolen... because shoppers refuse to pay 5p for plastic bags

yes, I know the article is dated 2012! ;)

I'm sorry but this ridiculous carrry on is just plain theft - and I hope the thieving prats are prosecuted ! I can't really understand why the staff and security guards are allowing shoppers to walk outwith the baskets though. The new policy has been widely advertised and, although parts of it seem to be a bit of a grey area, people who haven't grasped that if they want a carrier bag from the supermarket then they will have to pay 5p for it must be as thick as two short planks. Its hardly rocket science.
