Rakuten have a sale on until midnight - 15% off plus 25x points back on purchases plus they have just sent an email out with an extra 10% off code ... Plus potentially 8/8.4% TCB.
As an example, iPad mini retina is £215, £21.50 off, potentially 5375 points (worth £53.50 - assume this may reduce if points calculated after 10% discount code used), £15.48 est TCB (if it tracks/pays out when using the discount code), so potentially £123 approx after all the discounts (if TCB pays out appears to be the only risk - others discount/points will be known during checkout).
May be worth taking a look.

Good morning all...
I've had no internet all weekend...its still not completely fixed but hopefully we are getting there....did feel particularly sorry for the boys as they wanted to try and book tickets for Glostonbury but with no connection it was not to be....although their friends didnt really fair much better as I understand the tickets sold out in something like 30 mins...not my thing at all but I think thats because I'm no longer young and free spirited and perhaps I like the home comforts of a hairdryer and toilet paper a little to much, and the addition of mud too would be a no no!
On the plus side we went out for a lovely walk yesterday followed by an even lovelier pub sunday lunch.
Cant believe the transition in weather from yesterday to today ...but I guess autumn had to arrive at some point
Lovely to see nanny back...hope its all gone well for you and you feel better with each passing day.
have a great day allfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Tend to do it on my tab as it doesn't waste lives, find it easier to concentrate on current levels on my lappie after having a bit of practice on my tab. Just wish the bonuses were shown on both!
I only want to build up points on my laptop. That reaches higher levels than on the tablet. Upto 1250 on laptop. Phone and tablet only reach 1220. Though the phone and tablet seem to have other booster gathering opportunities.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Really? Are we going to go this far to defeat the policy aim and damage the environment, all for the sake of paying a few pence for a bag? (Probably cost me more than 5p in laptop electricity and the time taken to read that article.)0 -
"for every single-ujse bag"

Just can't get the staff can you these days?:rotfl: All these people employed as 'proofreaders' that ain't up to the job as well as an Asperger would be:D.
(There's no suggestion that the person whose name is against the article necessarily wrote that or was at fault or can't do their job.)
Just glaring, completely glaring:D:D. (Just absolute first thing I noticed:rotfl:.)0 -

All I know is that the 5p bags here are now so thin that often if you put 1 heavy item in them - like a 2litre of milk - you daren't put anything else in it as everything will come tumbling out of the bottom. You invariably have to buy 'a bag for life' which costs more than 10p. The 10p bags give nothing to charity.
If they had kept the 5p bags at the same thickness as they were before the charge came in then I wouldn't have minded. However I do resent the fact that the 5p bags here are good for nothing thus you have to upgrade to more expensive ones & the charities get nowt. It's only the supermarket that wins.
Taking your own is easier, less spillage and better for the environment. Sometimes I forget, so I also have a stash of 'bags for life' as I won't buy those thinner 5p ones (the ones that the cost - expenses goes to charity) as they are NOT fit for purpose here.0
