    Evening all.:D
Ladyshopper, glad you've improved so much.
My fizz arrived today. I got
    1 Lanson Brut Rose
    1 Monistrol Vintage 2010
    2 Freixenet Vintage Special 2012
    1 Michel Gonet champagne
    1 Jeepers champagne
Happy with what I got, so two more ordered for delivery tomorrow:D
I'm feeling much better today. The turning point was around this time last night, and despite sleeping much of the last three days, I slept all night and felt almost human this morning.
Thanks for all your get well wishes.
Lots going on. D's family have told us we are not family, they are the next of kin, and told us to, I quote , ' butt out'
After that they arrived en mass, and thrust the quote for the funeral, all 5 grand of it, at Mum, and asked her to pay for it if you please:eek:. Mum refused, telling them that when D moved in with her, all he had a suitcase a dog and a car, and she had supported him for 7 years, and that it was their turn to put their hands in their pockets. Besides that as she was ' not family or next of kin', and has been allowed no input, no cash would be forthcoming. It was not taken well.
It had been agreed that D''s funeral cortege would leave from Mum''s house as it was D''s home, that is now not happening. The florist that was a friend of theirs is now too busy to do Mum''s floral tribute. Pure spite:mad:
We'll all be glad when the funeral is over and we don't have to see any of them again.
    Sorry for the rant.

    You got jeeper too :D

So very sorry to hear what your poor mum is going through. Presumably she will have known from D what these people were like already.
What stands out from your post is that D's 'home' was with your Mum. It's sad that he can't take his final journey from his home but your Mum can take comfort from the fact that his home was with her, wherever she was. These people will gain nothing financially or emotionally from what they've done. Your mum is so lucky to have such a supportive family around her :A

Me and the kids have been out to watch the first night of the firework championships :D the kids loved it! We didn't go all the way into Blackpool itself.....I couldn't face the busy-ness tonight. Instead we watched from further along the beach. A really lovely evening :)

paying in dollars is going to be the weird thing and having to figure out what the conversion will be

we really like cunard but they stretch the budget a bit so I will keep an eye on this website

Could prove useful at some point. We still have a family account from Bank of Canada from when we had villa. Got a large rebate on owners account and not been back over to spend it yet. Never though of buying online in dollars.

    No 3 for a £5 discount.

Looks like you got the right trigger.

But you bought Simple Kind To Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser SPF 15 which is not in the 3 for £5

    The comparing ones are...

Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser and Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser

    You needed the non-SPF15 ones.

    Hope that helps!
