Evening all.:D
Ladyshopper, glad you've improved so much.
My fizz arrived today. I got
1 Lanson Brut Rose
1 Monistrol Vintage 2010
2 Freixenet Vintage Special 2012
1 Michel Gonet champagne
1 Jeepers champagne
Happy with what I got, so two more ordered for delivery tomorrow:D
I'm feeling much better today. The turning point was around this time last night, and despite sleeping much of the last three days, I slept all night and felt almost human this morning.
Thanks for all your get well wishes.
Lots going on. D's family have told us we are not family, they are the next of kin, and told us to, I quote , ' butt out'
After that they arrived en mass, and thrust the quote for the funeral, all 5 grand of it, at Mum, and asked her to pay for it if you please:eek:. Mum refused, telling them that when D moved in with her, all he had a suitcase a dog and a car, and she had supported him for 7 years, and that it was their turn to put their hands in their pockets. Besides that as she was ' not family or next of kin', and has been allowed no input, no cash would be forthcoming. It was not taken well.
It had been agreed that D''s funeral cortege would leave from Mum''s house as it was D''s home, that is now not happening. The florist that was a friend of theirs is now too busy to do Mum''s floral tribute. Pure spite:mad:
We'll all be glad when the funeral is over and we don't have to see any of them again.
Sorry for the rant.

they look lovely Jelly. I've done some with ova glue and glitter and sequins. I'm almost ready to make my own candles, got everything here just need an old Pyrex bowl for melting the wax
Those glasses aren't my own work (I wish:o), just grabbed a random photo to show what can be done.
I've limited my Sharpie skills to ceramics decorating; I'll try and post some of my own work later:)
And of course you have to post examples of your candle-making skills, AJ:D'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Naebbirab that's so rubbish for your poor mum , I am sorry but d's family just sound like they only are interested in money, people like that are better not being in our lives.
Ladyshopper keep your chin up, I hope you get hope as soon as is safe for you, and from experience the kids will survive and maybe even grow up a bit xThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

Heard the perfect 'Older sister to annoying younger brother' put-down in Morribbobs earlier this evening, with a family shopping. [Hopefully I can post now it's post-watershed, not too rude:)] Probably applies to sisters and brothers of any age, but in this instance sister was around 14-16, trying to act cool (maybe there were boys she fancied in the supermarket?), and younger brother, 8-10, was acting up like only boys that age can do. Eventually older sister said to him, "You're such a bell-end".:rotfl:'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
