It's tedious. I have 6 already because TCB don't like Gmail variations either.

Having expended all 12 gmail/googlemail i'll try yopmail.

I have catchall email forwarding on a domain, so *@mydomain.co.uk get forwarded to my gmail account.

Cost is minimal, I think the domain is about £10/year with 123-reg, I don't have web hosting or email host, just the forwarding.
