"Interesting" night here last night. 14 year old three doors down was left home alone and decided to have a party. Of course it got out of hand - kids were out on the roof  then spilled out onto the street. Neighbour asked them to keep the noise down, kids started getting lippy, metal ladder thrown at neighbours new car   Neighbour appeared wielding baseball bat    Police slow to arrive and took best part of an hour to get kids dispersed - they kept drifting off then coming back again. Didn't get much sleep0

Good Morning
For well over a week now we have had fab weather. Lots of sunshine and not a drop of rain. Not this morning, it's tipping it down. Can't complain, the sunshine was nice whilst it lasted and the garden needs a drink.
So I've let the chickens out, fed the cats, checked the naughty dog hasn't caused any carnage and brought my coffee back to bed
Mr T has sent some cond spends so I might have a look at how best to use them.0 -
Evening all.:D
Lots going on. D's family have told us we are not family, they are the next of kin, and told us to, I quote , ' butt out'
After that they arrived en mass, and thrust the quote for the funeral, all 5 grand of it, at Mum, and asked her to pay for it if you please:eek:. Mum refused, telling them that when D moved in with her, all he had a suitcase a dog and a car, and she had supported him for 7 years, and that it was their turn to put their hands in their pockets. Besides that as she was ' not family or next of kin', and has been allowed no input, no cash would be forthcoming. It was not taken well.
It had been agreed that D''s funeral cortege would leave from Mum''s house as it was D''s home, that is now not happening. The florist that was a friend of theirs is now too busy to do Mum''s floral tribute. Pure spite:mad:
We'll all be glad when the funeral is over and we don't have to see any of them again.
Sorry for the rant.

How upsetting for you and your Mum. At least we were able to just focus on the funeral for DM, but now I have to sort Probate. The money issues are draining even without any family disagreements. I was glad I did the floral tributes myself. It gave me a focus the day before and saved lots. Also, glad we made our own order of service. So much money spent on a few hours! Celebrate a life, and 7 years of love.
Take Care.

Good morning all, raining here as well.
I have to go now and stand on a footie sideline and cheer on my youngest, although it is "silent sidelines" this week so not much cheering!
Have a good day.0 -
Good morning all, sort of raining here but not quite managing it!WishI'dReadSooner wrote: »OMG that damned schnauzer is barking again! People like my neighbour should NEVER be allowed dogs. The silly mutt should just keep running as it's got no life now.
I don't think she gives a damn that it barks all day & night, it probably pleases her that she irritates all the neighbours, especially us as we're attached. GRrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
We have a new neighbour, they are in a house that has it's garden up against the road beside our house. They must have moved in a couple of years ago. They leave one of the parents to mow the lawns so they are often in disarray, and they have a dog. No idea what sort it is as I have never seen it out. It is often outside whining the most pitiful painful whine you have ever heard. Was thinking about the RSPCA but have not heard it for a while.scamps1966 wrote: »DEvdenking ;pdede;psw.

Tcb have offered me £10.50 on a £75 shop at @sda.
What I was wondering was if I do a shop including toothbrushes, simple and udis what kind of things can I buy to get to a £75 without jepodising my APG (do you like the way I make that sound like I know what I'm talking about haha)
DH drinks brandy so maybe a couple of bottles or toilet rolls.
What shop would ibe checking the comparison against?
Thanks in advance and sorry for even more questions.0 -

Cant you report the neighbours to the RSPCA I feel sorry for the dog . I would be grrring and reporting them if they lived near me. They probably don't love their dog or show it any affection and the dog is bored stiffPoor little love
