insurance....car park/private parking

hi everyone
recently been in a no fault claim car accident
my insurance tho are now asking for pictures of where i park my car as they are classing it as a car park and not private

there is space outside of my small block (6 apartments) with one car parking space each with a plate on with the number which only we are allowed to park on,the car park is also not on the road

when taking out my insurance i classed this as private but my insurance company now is saying that its a car park and therefore trying to void my claim

so my question is when do attatched drive ways become a car park?

thanks for any responses

Is where you park anything to do with your accident? And if your not at fault why aren't you claiming off the other parties insurance?

Classed as private? What option did you choose? carpark, private carpark, driveway or other?

No option for private car park just "private" or public car park

    Who are you insured by?

The reason I ask is many Insurers will have a help bubble next to the answers giving their explanation of each answer.

    This may help your case.

Do you live in a city?

And as previously asked, is where you parked anything to do with the accident?

So why are you going through your own insurance rather than the at fault insurer?

Have they actually said it may make the claim void or are you assuming that?

By the time the other insurance company got in touch with me I'd already gone through my own insurance, and they want pictures of where I park my car over night to see if its private after I've described it
