I do miss having a cat snuggle up against (or on top of) me on the sofa, but the flying litter / poop not so much!
It's why I love enclosed litter trays. One of our (well, my mum's but I still think of them as mine) cats used to manage to get litter across about half of the room so we had to get one with a lid. They also have the advantage of being much easier to pick up if my back's bad.0 -
sorry to say guys still in bed and still not showered. that is disgusting even by my standards
its been about 3 days gross I know.
Need to get up and shower and get dressed. I am sure it will make feel better.

Perhaps we ought to do what we did with WaS for Calley, and ignore you until you have washed!
Anyone seen Calley around? She doesn't seem to have posted for a while.....Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

I don't think I started having daily showers until I went to University!
Before that, it was the era of the weekly bath! (Whether you needed one or not!!) We had our own bath water, though............I'm not that old!
As a child, there was an old scary gas geyser over the bath that made frightening noises as if it were going to explode. It was only lit when we had baths, or when my mum did the washing. As a teenager, we had an immersion heater but it was only put on once a week in the summer, and in the winter was dependent on the back boiler behind the coal fire.
The Friday night bath! With clean PJs and clean sheets afterwards!
The rest of the week was a top'n'tail at the bathroom sink. In cold water, unless you went downstairs and boiled a kettle! :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)

Ok.
So I decided to tidy up the glory hole. (In the old sense of the word, per-leese! You people! Honestly!:D:D:D)
On the windowsill has been living my last dog's old teddy for the last few years, since she died.
It's only a small one, about 6" long, with chewed off eyes, and all grubby with manky, years-old, dried dog saliva. I decided it was time it went, so I lobbed it down the stairs to be put in the bin. (It really is manky).
Then an hour later, I went down to make a cup of tea, and took manky bear back upstairs to its windowsill!
Well, it was my dog's!
I'm hopeless!(I just lurve spiders!)

Well done Calley.
Is there anywhere that you really need to be or anything you absolutely have to do today?
If not then try to enjoy the time out, rather than beating yourself up for it, and if there is then try to get it done as soon as possible. Then you can come back and enjoy the time out without any "I should be doing xyz" worry.0 -
