Hi Squishables!
How's everything?
We had a first rehearsal today and I went on first.
with five A4 pages of stuff!
I overstayed my welcome by about 10 minutes, couldn't remember a single thing, needed my notes the entire time and was told to cut out most of it.
Still too much is better than not enough...:o
We've got to work on our routines for the next few days and the final run throughs are on Friday afternoon. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Ginger,
Braver than me. good luck for friday:j

thanks guys! I cut contact with my mother for 15 years, and I have again. I used to be so inderpendant.. When I was healthy and had a career, my mental health was better, as was my self esteem. Losing my health really changed my independence, .
Ayway, I'm sure it will blow over with my friend. It's a 25 year friendship and he knows things will be more manageable when I get the mental health help.
It went pretty well today..albeit bit of a mixed bag. He said I don't have a richter's hernia, that the Radiographer misinterpreted the last remaining hernia I have.He got how scary that would've been for me to read the scan results!
He was a bit worried with the gastro symptoms that the internal scar tissue is blocking something in GI tract so he hs going to make me drink barium and xray me. I'm so relieved about the hernia, but obviously I will be worried til I have the scan and get the results. He reminded me that I have a lot of damage and it can cause blockages and problems at the drop of a hat. This hernia he says will strangulate at some point so it's not over for me by any means. But hopefully, there's currently nothing too sinister going on at the mo..
Thanks so much for rooting for me guys.. it means a lot.:) xMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -

I'm thinking about treating myself to a new lamp for my lounge as mine is knackered, with the money my bestie female friend gave me for my birthday.. which on do you guys like best? My lounge is has a moccha feature wall and lots of green accents but I do have a yellow desk, so either would look nice here they are : http://www.habitat.co.uk/popp-yellow-bamboo-table-lamp-with-fabric-shade-202727

Good news! My lovely psychiatrist said I can cut the extra dose of antipsychotics by a 2/3rds! We are going to keep it a little higher than normal and keep the antidepressant increase but I can begin to slowly reduce the one that is giving me the most side effects. He agreed that I don't have a satisfactory quality of life on the current dose, I am so relieved! I will still be out of it for another week or so because we need to reduce slowly to prevent withdrawal but things should get better from here. We are first going to reduce and eventually cut out the afternoon dose, after all of my sleep yesterday I was back in bed by 7pm and have just woken up now at midday. It's so silly!
Aww thanks....not so sure about the clever part, the ones we were copying were so much better and I did have to have a hand completing the piped dots as my hands gave up the ghost..talking of Ghost, it was very much like that scene at the potting wheel, except we are two girls and it didn't have the same sexy feel :rotfl:
I'm going the opposite way to you, I am currently in an insomniac phase. Driving me nuts as I just want to sleep but can't.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Faerie so pleased to hear things went as well as they did. Both colours look good for the lamp but I think the yellow is cheerier. John lewis have lovely lamps too.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Morning all
Glad the appointment wasn't too bad faerie, it sounds like things are under control and that the consultant has a plan in place - all good x. I can't even look at the lamps lol...I know my limitations, it will lead to another 14 hours lost on pinterest
Am so looking forward to getting the bedrooms sorted - but am definitely better at making pretty plans rather than actually getting started. Have got some time off in a couple of weeks to crack on with it.
My boss is supposed to be here today but I would bet good money he won't make it. Have another scary work thing tomorrow (the same as the scary work thing from last week)... it's never ending this scary work stuff!0
