Thanks Pollyanna. He came round with tools and we sorted it. First load is now washing. What a big tantrum about laundry lol...I blame pmt!
I'm really lucky to have such lovely helpful parents, I just wish I didn't have to go running for help all the time.0 -
I'm seeing my surgeon tomorrow morning to ask about this richter's hernia, I'm getting so anxious.. I'm so phobic of that hospital, you have to walk past the wards to get to outpatients, even the idea of going is making me flashback. I'm going on my own as the friend who I told he was being angry is ignoring me. It hurts and it's scary as he's always been there for me with medical stuff. I feel like a frightened child. He represents family and I really think I've lost him. The friend I told about him is really mad at me. I don't know yet of she's told her flatmate, but he's so stubbon I don't back down and talk to me in the near future.
I just wish I had family. It gets so hard to go it alone with such scary medical stuff to deal with all the time. If I had family to lean on my friends wouldn't have had to step in and my friendships wouldn't've been so compromised over the years. I feel so alone and it's terrifying me. I haven't had more than 3 hours sleep at night for weeks, the insomnia is so bad. I didn't even make it to bed last night at all. The more adrenalised I get, the less I can sleep. Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -
Hi faerielight,
It's probably too late to organise this now, but would you not be considered suitable for some sort of advocacy service?:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Hello squishables,
Running in to refill squish cupboard and say hi and big squishes to all who need. Currently really struggling with the study and trying to make myself complete the assignment that is due on Thursday, so if you see me before then.......chase me out gently. Sounds like some people are having carppy weeks and just wanted to lend love and support.0 -
Evening shipmates,
Hugs and squishes and handshakes to everyone. Even if they are not needed have one as they are free and for nothing :rotfl:
Just read about this this. A sofa that can give a hug.
I want one. And think we need them in the fort.
Not much to say really. Not seen or spoken to my lodger. He did send a text saying am sorry calley. Did not reply.
Everyone have a good as night rest as you can manage.

Fab sofa! I've just installed a few in the fort, together with a Temple Grandin hug machine (Google her if you haven't heard of her, inspirational, and I understand she does make machines for people nowadays
)
Love to all, and energy and recovery to WaS and anyone else who needs it xxxxxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Oooohh I want one of those....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

You may all want to stand clear today - am likely to bite someone's head off. Just told a bloke off at work! I was emptying the dishwasher (as I do at least 3 times a week, despite being usually the 5th person into the kitchen) - he came in, rummaged around in the tray to find his own mug and left everything else. I thought I'd shame him so said 'are you seriously just taking your own and not helping at all with the others'. To which his reply was 'I'm leaving on friday'... that doesn't answer it!?!
Am now going to try and bite my tongue for the rest of the day.... stupid pmt.0
