Does it not make the scary work thing slightly easier, having done it once already?
Welly, hang on in there, I'm sure you're doing fine. I think people sometimes say babies look like dads sometimes just to stop them feel g left out.

faerie - great news on the hernia! I think the yellow one is brighter as well, but would recommend a visit to IKEA if it's possible, as I think they are lovely but very pricey, and IKEA always have lights that I like. (You could look online first if you can't face a visit :p) BHS is also great!

I like the yellow lamp Faerie :) Glad the appointment went well, I hope the scan is good/useful too.

I have been eyeing up this lamp, I love that you can leave little messages on it! Yesterday it would have said 'Cheer up gitface' as a hint to my DH to get over his Monday blues! :rotfl:

Welly, Baby Bird is my DH's double. It does bug me that there's very little of me in him, but he has already picked up on some of my mannerisms etc so will look like me when doing certain things/pulling faces and so on. It makes me feel a bit better. It was worse when he was tiny and new as he looked like my (unfortunately not very good looking!) BIL! :p

It does a bit elsien - was telling myself that last night :rotfl:. It's something I'll have to be doing a lot off so I do just need to get on with it and get to the point where it's just part of my week rather than something I lose sleep over. But at the moment it's definitely still at the scary stage :p.

(((welly))) A friend of mine adopted her two boys and people were always telling her how much they looked like their dad (neither were biologically related to them). They're in their 20s now, and I can actually see the resemblance somehow :D. Hang in there lovely - if there's one thing for certain it's that escapette doesn't give a monkeys who she looks like!

    Morning Shipmates,

Hope everyone is well today. Hugs and squishes and hand shakes to all. People that are MIA, just to let you know we are all thinking about you.

Not sure what is wrong today but I am feeling MEH!!!! Was suppose to be up and at husbands by 9.30 this morning. Still in bed and just can't be arsed. did not sleep well but not tired. And my tongue is playing me up. It's sore and has been a for about a week. And now its on both sides.

Lodger came and spoke to me last night. Seems he does not have any where to go. And said he did not want to leave me then corrected himself did not want to leave here.

He also gave me £40 of the £50 he owes me. And when going out with his non-gf has been coming in before 1am.

Anyway need to think about getting up and showered in a min.

    Everyone had a good day.

    Yours

    Calley

Did you stick to your guns about him leaving calley? Has he had notice in writing (I have no idea if this is a legal requirement or not, but just seemed like a good idea to my non-legal mind!)

Calley Two things come to mind re tongue . Lack of B vitamins or dental issue - although that seems less likely as it's both sides .
Hugs to all who want , squishes for the poorlies .

    Tea,

No I did not. As I am not that cruel to chuck someone out when they have no where else to go. I know not my problem.

I think he knows that he has been a D ick. I only asked one thing of him not to come in late.

We will see how it goes over the next few weeks.

If one more person tells me how much Escapette looks like her dad I will scream! Having enough bonding/attachment problems as it is!!

Welly, my first looked just like me and still does, but they're nothing like me in character at all! I know which I'd rather have!
My second looked just like their father as a newborn, but as they grew, they didn't look like anyone, not even the milkman! :D

Calley, it may have been just the wake up call he needed. Might as well give him a probationary second chance. If he pulls his socks up, you'll still have rent coming in.

Although part of me's cross that if he's out gallivanting so much, why hasn't he been able to give you the whole £50?

Don't ask as I have no idea.

He has very skewed logic. He took unpaid leave yesterday to sort something out and he had to travel 85 mile round trip. Rather than wait for it arrive in the post and send it back. As it saved on postage!!!! But then he lost x amount of hours of paid work and fuel costs. But according to him that is ok as it wont effect him until pay day
