When Wasp has posted the form you will feel much better - I promise
I have come to the conclusion that I may be the oldest poster here so from the lofty heights of too many years of seeing and doing it all I order you to let it go , be kind to yourself and leave it to the universe .

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Thanks so much for the hugs.. this housing stuff is really affecting my security. I am so fed up of this flat, have freezing cold showers in winter and bagging my loo roll up is so awful, but I've put up with it to keep a roof over my head. I think because I've been homeless 3 times before, plus being so mashed up and ill, abd I feel too old to be facing this again. It would be so wonderful to get a council flat and have the home security I long for. I'm so glad I've got my cats to look after me, I've got one on my lap, he's flopped out with his fluffy belly out
Tomorrow I have to tackle 2 forms which I'n dreading.. my housing benefit top up that has expired and the medical forms to try and get my housing banding upped. I find form filling so stressful. Sorry you can't sleep WW, and I hope you get well soon xMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -
Hopefully your getting some sleep ww
Healthy minds today
Oh and a telephone interview0 -
I hurt! My ears hurt, my throat hurts. Lemsip max tablets are taking the edge off it but not getting rid. I am getting hot flashes too. I think it is a recurrence of the xmas bug.
I haven't slept but I have done two loads of washing and unpacked the dishwasher and cleaned the sides.
Plus good news about the mental health 'shake up' on the news today but I can't concentrate on it properly.
Good luck with form filling and Shelter, faerielight. Was it you that was suggested to try Shelter?

It will be if it leads to an improvement in the service ww.
Adult mental health provision is patchy. What concerns me is it will be another stick to try and force unwell people, who aren't receiving the right care to work. (I'm cynical though)0 -

But I watched The Not So Secret Life Of The Manic Depresive:10 Years On and My Baby, Pyshcosis and Me" and it's given me a lot to think about, during the first one I kept seeing so many of my thoughts and actions, and their experiences living with bipolar really struck a chord. The latter has also given me a lot to think about, as I have bipolar I have 50% chance of deciding postpartum psychosis and that has really struck home. It scares me to death that shoudn I have kids I may end up developing it. But the programme was brilliant and have a really honest representation of what it moght be like.
Also remember that you have a 50% chance of NOT developing it!
