The ESA form is done! Every question is complete and 5 pages have been added! Oh, relief. Now I have to wait for the verdict but at least it's over which will hopefully mean no more A&E trips. I want to rewrite half of it because you can see me lose the plot slightly in the middle as I become more paranoid and hallucinate but it is what it is, at least it's honest.

Well done WaS (and WaSp). Hopefully both your blood pressures will go down now.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I do hope so, whitewing! Definitely well done to WaSp too, because he has put up with me since this has arrived and has been quietly supplying me with copious amounts of tea, chocolate and yummy puddings. He never knows quite what to do at times like this but I always tell him he couldn't do better; just let me rant, give me a cuddle and keep bringing me the comforting things!
I should really be in bed but I am sitting here in quiet celebration of the form being dealt with. Please let them accept it, then I should be fine for at least another year.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

My body clock isn't right yet as I fell asleep in the early evening and have now woken up.
Does anyone know if they've had the ballot for tickets for the Queen's birthday street party in The Mall? I can't find anything on the web other than the ballot was to be held this month.
Pants if I've missed it.(I just lurve spiders!)

Oh dear, Pyxis. At least it's morning, of sorts?
There is a ballot for tickets? There is a Queen's birthday street party? I am so helpful, aren't I? :rotfl:
Oooh, here you go, Pyxis! It has just opened apparently!

It's a bit too early even for me!
And I've a busy day ahead! French and AmDram and have to prepare something for the latter!
Yes, there's a big bash in London for the Queen's 90th. A big garden party at Buck House for people involved in the queen's charities etc, and then a big street party in The Mall, a 1000 tickets for which will be for sale to anyone, but will be allocated by ballot. I was wanting to apply to buy a couple, but can't find anything about how to apply, so am afraid I've missed the ballot.
Before I went away, the internet sites I googled all said the ballot would be held in February.
On another note, I'm feeling guilty.
I enjoyed this holiday even more than the previous singing holiday I went on last year. I already have another one booked in Spain in May.
But because I had such a fantastic time, I decided to try and get on yet another one in September as well, which was supposed to be fully booked, but when I rang them, they had had a cancellation, so I booked that too.
Now I feel guilty.
But I really, really enjoy these holidays!
(And I keep reminding myself of all the years and years and years when I didn't have holidays).
Edit.......ooh! Thanks WaS! I'll get straight on the case!(I just lurve spiders!)

Good luck with the tickets!

Well, that was interesting! This link is to a free event at Windsor Castle, with tickets allocated by ballot, too. Not the same one as the one in The Mall, where I understood there were to be a 1000 tickets on sale to anyone, but allocated by ballot.
Anyway, I decided to apply for the Windsor one, even though it's just a "bring your own food and see the show on big screen". It was incredibly difficult to find where to apply to do that! Took me about five separate attempts, navigating through the organisers' website.
Would still like to apply for The Mall one, as with that, you are a proper guest and get given a special picnic box etc. and a seat at a table, but as I can't find any details, I can only assume the ballot has closed.(I just lurve spiders!)

It looks like it cost £150 for The Mall tickets, Pyxis!

Yes I know, but it'd be a once in a lifetime thing, seeing as how I'm never likely to be invited to a Buck House Garden Party! :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)
