Tea, you're not being annoying at all. I can't imagine how much your head must be spinning so keep ranting to us whenever you need to.

Melly, is there anyone you can complain to about the woman's attitude? Rubbish customer service is something which is annoying and unnecessary anywhere but is completely unacceptable in your situation.

Ww - that's such a lovely offer but it's ok. I've decided to make the best of it and build my own birthday. So, I have made an online shop with a birthday cake and some junk food and will order a Chinese for dinner and will spend the day chilling and eating rubbish.

I am showing signs of coming out the other end of this. Mr CP on the other hand is not. He spent the night coughing really loudly and being sick. I moved to the couch but I suspect you southerners could probably hear him and eventually at 4am, I cracked, marched upstairs, put strict nurse voice on, put vapo rub on him, stood over him til he took some cough syrup and turned the humidifier on and within 20 minutes he was asleep. Mr CP has an annoying habit of refusing anything that might be helpful when he's ill so I sometimes get a bit grouchy with him.

Tea - I think the counselling is a good idea. You're unravelling over 10 years of a relationship. That's a long time in which you've dealt with a lot of stuff, good and bad and that's not easy to separate even with a nice neat package. Of course you're going to be confused, especially with this ending so if counselling helps you find a way through this, then it can only be a good thing. You're not annoying us. If it bothers you, then we will try to help (although please don't marry him).

Melly - sorry the situation has got so bad - you should be able to get help so much more easily, but I'm glad you're getting something. Fingers crossed for agency call.

Glad you're feeling slightly better. Hope Mr CP has a miraculous recovery today so he can pull a birthday surprise out of the bag tomorrow xx.

Got back upstairs female neighbour decided to try and get something out of her car whilst I was getting out so had a teeth sucking and now have BANG BANG THUD CRADH.
I am supposed to flip I think.
Not long now at least I will know (tho obvs I now believe it's a no and we ate going to be properly 100% screwed)

He made a big deal about how he would definitely be in touch today. Was really apologetic about the delays so far (which I hadn't even mentioned). Said repeatedly that he'd contact me even if there was nothing to report.

Then hasn't bothered! Grr.

You know when you know your subconscious is trying to tell you something? When you wake up really depressed after a dream you have apparently been crying in and remember that a huge feature was a theatre play entitled The Key! displayed in huge, black letters. My subconscious is hitting me around the head with a large, wet fish here, short of including a sign saying "Pay attention to this dream!" It couldn't make it more obvious. But now I am all anxious because of a dream so boo.
