Police haven't seen em yet I don't think.
OH is panicked let's face it when we photographed their car because it was blocking us in he tried to kick the door in.

See Tea you have done nothing going wrong, he is still trying, despite you stating you need time, to make you see him.
  • Melly Could you and oh wrap up well and take off somewhere for a few hours ? It isn't good for either of you to be running at this level of stress . If you have fuel in the car I think it would be better to get away for a few hours .
Gentle hugs to any who need .

Nowhere to go plus would mean leaving dogs and tomcat here.
Should I speak to nice neighbours for back up?

Yes, speak to nice neighbours if you're able to. x
  • Definitely speak to the nice neighbours Melly. The more back up you've got the better.

He's persistant tea I'll give him that. Yet another thing to tell Police Baby about when you see him next.
  • Oh dear, men are so affected by their jobs, aren't they? Mr JM, who is not allowed to work (too ill and it him iller) is consistently miserable about not being able to. And not helped by the bloody DWP and the media's 'benefits scrounger' attitude. Many squishes.

That must be so hard for you both JM. :( The last time he was out of work in his 20's it was for 3 years, and then he went to college and got qualifications and then got a job with this company (well it was another company but this one took over) and I think he remembers how down he got then and he's worried it's going to be a long stretch of unemployment again.

Do you think he'd be open to a deal Georgie - he's allowed to wallow today but tomorrow he has to do something fun with you?

It's so cold here today!! Was planning a walk, but having nipped round the corner to drop something off have shelved that idea. Too cold!

I tried that tea. I mentioned going for a walk in the fells, but no, "I'll be finished work in 6 weeks we'll go then". I know when he gets out he enjoys it and feels better, like any exercise I guess. It's just finding the motivation to do it. I want to go now and not wait for weeks, I might go out on my own.

It's freezing here too. I  my blanket so much right now!
  • Oh, and I did about 5700 steps yesterday and I thought that I should hit 7000 no problem, and then I fell asleep on the sofa, so didn't meet it for another day. :(

Georgie, if it makes you feel better, I did 1200 and probably won't even do that for the next couple of days.

Even more fun, Mr CP has caught my cold and is obviously so much worse than me to the point where I now have to take care of him. A certain point of me sees the wisdom in this - physically, I'm way more robust than he is and if I make sure he's doing the right things now, his cough might not park in his chest for months. At the same time, I'm annoyed because he doesn't look after me when I'm sick and why do I always have to be the one putting my needs on hold while he gets to go back to bed?

Also Penguin about death My aunt died yesterday. I went to see her twice in her final weeks and I'm glad I did and I knew when I saw her last week, I wouldn't see her again. But I also feel bad because while I do feel sad, I also feel relieved because at least she's not going through it anymore. I am a bad person. I cried for 2 days when my dog died. I cried for 2 minutes last night. end penguin.

    (((code)))

Please don't feel bad. It's complelety natural to feel relief when someone is no longer suffering. That doesn't make you a bad person at all.
  • (((((Code))))) Like tea says, it's only natural to feel relief that they aren't suffering anymore.

Hugs as well about you caring for Mr CP and not getting much back when you're poorly. :(
