  • Sorry you feel scared in your own home Melly. :( Sounds like the police are finally getting round to doing something though hopefully.

    Evening Shipmates,

Oh melly have a massive but gentle hug and a squish. I really do wish I lived near you. So I could take you away from it all.

WaS glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better. Both you and WaSP should have a huge hug and squish.

GG did you try that turkish yogurt? what did you think. They had none this evening when I went. But did get my fav perfume in lidl LOL!!!

Went to the dentist today arrived and when I went in got told my old dentist had retired !!!! Not happy. As I had not been told. She hurt me poking around and reckons I have a small amount of bone loss. So need to use inter-dental brushes. Funny that my old dentist said as long as I keep them the way they are they will last the rest of my life time.

So now my dentist has retired I no longer need to travel miles. I only kept going as I had not found another dentist I liked since moving.

Got to feed my step grand daughter ice cream at lunch time. So her mum could eat her dessert. And I managed not to get any over me LOL!!! As for some reason I did not want one. But making up for it now :(

Everyone who needs it get a decent nights sleep. That does include me as I got about 2 and half hours last night and then nodded off for about or so on my husband sofa this afternoon :rotfl:

Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all that need them. And I will keep you all in my thoughts.

    Take care

    Yours

    Calley

I'd forgot about it! So, I went and got some, and you weren't lying when you said it was thick! Tried abit of it on it's own, thought texture wise it seemed quite cottage cheesy and abit of a somewhat sour/bitter taste (or just not as sweet as I'm used to with yoghurts), and I was abit unsure, but I added some blueberries and it was really tasty! :p

Is the perfume the one that compares to Coco Mademoiselle?

  • Morning all :)

Mood is understandably glum here today. :( I'm trying to keep myself and D upbeat, trying to have a positive attitude, but D is mooching around like Sad Sack and sighing every couple of minutes.

I know it's a hard time, he's had the rug pulled from under his feet, he's lost his job what he's done for years to some person who doesn't have a clue of what the roll entails, and that's the most annoying upsetting thing. :( I'm hoping he's able to snap out of it and have a positive onwards and upwards attitude, but considering he's always had a very negative can't do attitude to a lot of things, I'm not holding my breath. :(

Hope everyone is ok this morning? :)
  • Oh dear, men are so affected by their jobs, aren't they? Mr JM, who is not allowed to work (too ill and it him iller) is consistently miserable about not being able to. And not helped by the bloody DWP and the media's 'benefits scrounger' attitude. Many squishes.

WaS, you are a superstar. And I had to laugh cos when I read your post out to Mr JM he was guessing all the way along EXACTLY what meds they had given you! (Knowing him, he was probably right too!) xxxxx

Do you think he'd be open to a deal Georgie - he's allowed to wallow today but tomorrow he has to do something fun with you?

It's so cold here today!! Was planning a walk, but having nipped round the corner to drop something off have shelved that idea. Too cold!

    JM,

My husband is the same. He hates being on benefits and wants to work.

What annoys me is my husband was in hospital for 3 and half months and you can't fake a stroke and still had to fill the forms in.
