P cat was sat on my lap last night, purring loudly and dribbling on my leg. If I dared stop stroking him he was head-butting me till I started again. Every so often he'd look up and stare right at me for a while. I was telling him how beautiful he is and how much I love him (his favourite story
)
There's just no comparison between a much-loved animal and a person you barely see/know. Just because they're not a person doesn't mean they're not important - it's another soul that has connected with yours and that you love, that's all that matters.0 -
Sometimes I worry that DA dog prefered his old family so I tell him they didn't love him as much as I do :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Awww I miss having a pet. If I am not evicted by the new landlord I may ask if I can have another hamster. Either that or spend a fortune and get one of those lovely robotic pets that Pyxis linked to, one of those would be perfect for me.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

elloooooo.......thanks for the thoughts guys, new job was fine, surprisingly so actually. Only a few days in and have so far been in office so may change when I get out on site, but they were very friendly and welcoming and like minions, so a good start! V.tired after long days and poor sleep, but all in all, my first days as an astronaut were perfectly acceptable and many of those stupid things I was worrying about before hand were silly. Even tho its an hour and a half drive to the office and then back again - I quite enjoy listening to my audiobooks so don't mind too much.
big squishes to all for the pooey weeks some people are having.0 -
