  • Doing anything in my shed would be inadvisable, it's chock-a-block with stuff and there's no room!

Can't believe we've been together nearly a year. Compared to this time last year when i was unhappy with my ex i never imagined it would go the way it's gone. I'm a lot happier though :D:)

  • Hehe yes he does Pyxis! :rotfl:

Quick question for those who do the 5:2 diet. Do your fast days have to be the same each week? I know it probably makes it easier in terms of sticking to it etc, but I'm thinking like say I'm going out or something, can I just change my fast day to the next day?

Yes, they positively recommend that you can change if you need to. It's the main advantage of the 5:2 over ADF (alternate day fasting, where you fast every other day) - Dr M says ADF really screws with your social life as people never know when you are fasting!

However, having said all that, when you get really established you'll find that you hardly ever need to swap - you just get used to people eating around you. (Although I did swap last week due to a combination of a very posh meeting where I suspected there would be good refreshments/lunch - I was right - preceded by a day where I spent a lot of time at the dentist so suspected it would be a good and easy fasting day :D)

Well, no, not if it involves a lawnmower and a rake.

    :D

To add to the 5:2, the days shouldn't be consecutive.
And the 500 calories on the fast day is the maximum; you can eat fewer or none if you want.
I really recommend you read the book first, though.

Hello. I feel quite happy today. I met some great people this week and it is good to know that I could make a difference to their lives.

It is going to be a very busy day today, but hopefully busy doing what I want to do.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

  • That's very helpful JM and Pyxis thank you. Also, I didn't realise it was only 500. I thought it was about 700 for men and 600 for women. So yes, will have to read up on ot properly!
