Well done hbs. That's so impressive.
Georgie - monkey cat has such a cute face. Obviously he saw you and decided you were his human.
#dogs4lyf. Mr CP didn't want a dog and at one point told me we'd have to break up if I wanted one. So I resigned myself to not having pets. Then one of his friends got a dog which he spent ages petting one night and shortly after that I caught him on a rescue page. Then we looked at every single dog in every rescue. And then they told us that DA dog was coming in. When we first went in, he wasn't in his pen and we were saying hello to another dog, when he came running in and headbutted the other dog out of the way.
First day back at work after 3 weeks off. Weighed myself and have gained 4lbs so back on diet too. I knew it would be bad as my staple diet has been pigs in blankets, crisps, chocolate santas and cheese. Back to obese bmi category and my size 14 jeans are squishing me like a python around the thighs.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I would LOVE a Leonberger but first I need the house to go with it!

I've never heard of that breed of dog before. They look so cute, but massive! D likes those New Foundlands.codemonkey wrote: »Georgie - monkey cat has such a cute face. Obviously he saw you and decided you were his human.

They say that animals choose their owners don't they? We very nearly didn't get him because I was all set on getting another ginger. But I was waiting for D to arrive from work, so went into his pen just to fill in time and to have a look, and boom, straight away jumped into my arms! He's never done that since, it was all a ploy!
DA was saying "these humans belong to me, get out of my way man" :rotfl: What breed of dog is he again?
Birdie, good plan. Just sneak one in, I'm sure he'll be fine!
I need to get motivated to do my HITS this afternoon, but so far I can't even get motivated to shift position on the sofa! :rotfl:0 -
He's a cross breed. And a master of the sad eyes. We actually went in wanting to get a staffy and ended up with him. Most spoiled dog in the universe because everyone loves him and gives him cuddles and treats, he thinks he should have attention all the time.
Definitely sneak one in - it's not your fault if a cat adopts you and it's good for kids to have pets. Really it would be so irresponsible not to get one. :rotfl:
I am so hungry. Where are my cheese, crisps and chocolate and what is this green stuff on my plate?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
My boss is in the office today and we were supposed to be having a (v long overdue) meeting to go through all of the work I'm doing. I send things to him then never hear back, it's very disheartening. He's literally said two words to me so far. What an utter waste of yet another day.
He has however been having conversations with other people about me (about 2' away!)
Think I need some of melly's new job finding vibes! Have been here 7 and a bit months... that's long enough to start looking right??0 -
No harm in looking tea. Hse is a lot busier than I thought and there are lots of construction roles0

Will definitely be having a browse later, this is not working out quite as anticipated.
Ideally though I will be winning the huge lottery rollover this weekend.... just need to remember to buy a ticket for the first time in years.
Then I will buy a huge country manor where you and all your beautiful animals will all be welcome whenever you fancy a break0
