To be fair his vet is very good at same day appointments.
They'll even do your anal glands if you ask nicely. :rotfl:
I think he's either leaped off the bed awkwardly or hurt himself running down the stairs. Mr CP jokingly said they'd put him to sleep so I cried again.

Hope your doctor is nicer than mine. Last time I went with a sore back she tried to get me to put my legs behind my head.

Try not to worry too much Code, Little Sod is always banging himself and making himself limp. It usually sorts itself out within a day or so, but if not then maybe get the vet to have a look.

Melly and Fly, you should set up your own business together!

I'd love to have a go at Ninja Warrior, Georgie. Mainly because it looks like an adults playground! Id be rubbish though, got no strength in my arms since I broke both my elbows a few years ago.

Hope you feel better soon WaS and Pyxis.

Was War and Peace any good Torry? I tried to watch but Escapette had other ideas.

Due to the recent sleepless nights, Escapette is in her own room tonight in her cot. We have a video monitor and I'm glued to it . I think I'm going to get less sleep this way than if she was in with us grunting and groaning.

I just want some stronger painkillers so I can sit or lie down for more than 5 minutes.
Gitdog is knackered - he's traipsing round after me because I'm walking up and down and he's worried I'm going out without him.:rotfl:
welly, have you thought about those tough mudder type events, if you fancy a challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed it - then again I was only spectating. :D
Good luck with Escapette change of scenery - now you're both working is OH doing a proper share of the nighties? Edit - that should say night times. Auto carrot does have its moments - would bearded one suit a nightie.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

welly, try and relax. As long as you haven't been drinking, you will wake up in an emergency for escapette.

littlewing has had bad dreams over the last few nights, due to her virus but also prompted by animations on TV (Toy Story was one). Normally she wants daddy but his sympathy was wearing thin at 5.30am so she asked for mummy. What do you want mummy for? I want to tell her something. No, you don't talk to people at 5.30 in the morning.

DH trying to reason with little child in stressful conditions never works, so i rescued them both. It actually still surprises me when she wants me as I had given up on my own mother by that age.

Never have I seen a cats eyes pop put so far as when he had that done to him! It was like something out of a cartoon!

Hope DA dog is ok :)

Both elbows at the same time? I was like I've got good arms, quite good upper body strength, I could do that! In reality, I'd probably dangle there like a rag doll! :rotfl:

Hope you manage to get in at the docs tomorrow elsien. :)
  • D is back at work tomorrow and hopefully might find out what on earth is going on. Understandably he is very nervous and worried about having to find a new job, and so am I :(

Just woke up from a bad dream.
Dreamt I was late for an AmDram performance........more complicated than just that........and full of anxiety and the feeling of being left out.

Can't breathe through my nose now, but at least the constant streaming seems to have stopped. Feel very achey, especially around ribs from all the coughing/sneezing.

On a brighter note, it would appear that the main perpetrator of my angst at AmDram has left the group! Got an email earlier today which indicates that. Big surprise!

Strange I would then have a bad dream about AmDram? Although I know it was the virus talking.

Now I'm wide awake, so am going to watch my recording of War and Peace.
I've seen previous productions of it, and a film made of it, and all were very good, so I have high hopes for this one.

Elsien, I would strongly recommend you see a Chiropractor.

I do think bad dreams are from the slight fever. Put vick on your feet to help with the blocked nose (works for littlewing who hates vick on her chest - wear socks on top!)

I dreamt that I was looking after someone else's newborn baby and I lost it. I have also been dreaming about martial arts.

My highly exciting last half hour was spent trying to find cheap blank white tea cloths so that littlewing can decorate them as a gift for granny who desperately needs some new ones.
